I bought this to replace a third party case I had bought from a well known online retailer. While I was very pleased with that case, the zipper left much to be desired as the pull came off fairly quickly rendering the case mostly useless as the GPS could fall out. I've had this case for a few months now and it is holding up nicely. The zipper pull has a rubber cushion cover to make it comfortable to use. It has a convenient pocket on the outside of the case just big enough to hold the USB cable supplied with the GPS unit, and any additional memory cards you may have for it. About the only weak point on this case is that the exterior accessory pocket doesn't have any form of closure on it to secure its contents. I would suggest storing any additional memory cards (if you have any) in the main pocket which does have a zipper along with the GPS, or just don't keep them with the case at all and only insert them into your GPS as needed. As stated in the summary, I use this with a Garmin Nuvi 2797 LMT and it fits perfectly. The case is made of a neoprene wetsuit type material for cushioning from small drops. That said, it would probably not offer much protection from sharp impacts to the screen, so I wouldn't stack anything on it that might be sharp. Even so, I've had no problems with it tossing it in my briefcase or backpack with other items.

I purchased this to protect my 7" GPS. Perect fit. I put in in a larger bag with the cord and a few other accessories. Protects my screen.

I got this as a secondary choice. When I want to place my Garmin in a briefcase and into or out of work, this is great. I have a Pelican case that I use at other times. i like using a GPS unit and not my phone because when I get a call, I lose the map. Anyway, if you want a protective soft cover, I recommend this highly.
