The zipper is of high quality and my Garmin was protected for the multiple stops I made on a 3 week trip.

The pocket on the outside can hold the power adapter so I don't have to try and put it inside the case and possibly scratch the GPS screen. The soft case protects my GPS when I want to store it in my car or other locations.

I would store the cable in another bag. You don't want the screen scratched. I keep the cable inside the vehicle. I just remove the GPS unit.

Fits my Garmin Drive 61 LM
