I really like the vertical style of this case. It is neoprene on the outside, and cushioned on the inside (not plush, like some neoprene sleeves). It makes an interesting crinkle-y noise when you press on the case; no idea what is inside to insulate, but if you're put off by noises, skip this bag. There is also a zippered pocket on the outside of the bag to put plugs, cords, accessories, papers, etc., and a place to slip your ID with a plastic window. Overall, this is a great computer bag, with two minor flaws: the crinkle noise, and the strap connections feel flimsy; I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. However, I'm still happy with my purchase, and will buy more for my personal computers. (I intend to use this for a work-issued HP, and tested this bag with two personal laptops: a 2020 MacBook Air 13" and a 2021 Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 14" - both fit very well with accessories in the pocket!) Bag is exactly as pictured.

Fits my needs perfectly as I use a wheelchair to get around right now and I can swing it over my arm. I put my mouse inside one of the outside pocket and pen and paperwork
