When you invest in a $1,500 phone you need to protect it. I'm the guy you want to buy a used car from because I take care of and protect things that are high value. I wanted a case to protect my phone. I have tried several cases over the years before I decided to try the Casetify protector. They claim to have specs that allow for a 6.5' drop factor which is higher than most products at this price level. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to phone cases. I don't like the slippery or fancy cases as those can make you drop your phone if you don't have a good grip. I like a "grippy" feel. It has to have the right amount of grippiness - not too much and not too little. The Casetify grip fits that feel that I'm looking for. I can also use a magnetic cell phone ring holder on this case. It allows for the magnetic ring to sit firmly on the phone through this case. The button presses are also very good. The color of the case matches my phone. The packaging of the case is excellent. It looks and feels like a quality product that can match the look and feel of my phone. It comes in several colors. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a case to protect their investment in a phone.

CASETiFY - Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max Force Case Is a solid case. Packaging was sufficient for shippping and protection of the case. The case fits snugly on the iphone 17 Pro Max. it does make it feel more secure in my hands without slippage or sliding out of my hands, thanks to the textured sides. Consists of durable materials and the black gives a very elegant look to the case. The magsafe case charges in my car’s wireless charging space as well as my home wireless chargers without fail. Highly recommend to anyone who is needing a rugged case to keep up with their active lifestyles. The black in particular in my opinion, gives a classy look and not a cheap looking nor plasticy feel. A kickstand would have been nice, but this case didn’t come with one and I didn’t expect it to. The camera knockout fits securely around the camera lens and protects the edges from chipping or rubbing off as some have reported with their iphones. I would highly recommend this case to anyone needing a sturdy, durable, nice looking case for their phones.

Time of the year to try out oodles of cases for my new iPhone. Have tried out a few, like this one, but still on the search for the daily driver. This case is pretty basic in terms of looks/features. There aren't any fancy windows or specialized buttons on here. It's just a case. The case is hard plastic and a bit slick to the touch. Magsafe ring on the back. The buttons are covered to a certain extent however there are parts of the buttons beneath that are still exposed to the elements/debris/etc. There is no camera button cover on this case. Instead, it's just the normal camera cutout for the button beneath. A bit disappointing to be honest considering most other case manufacturers have some sort of cover for this button. AND considering the price of this case, you'd expect this little extra to be added into the case somehow. Overall, decent case but again, very basic. For the price of this case, I either would've expected Magsafe ring, covered camera plateau, increased shock absorption or something. As is, this just really looks like an overpriced case you'd find in a clearance bin somewhere.

Having a couple of cases already for previous iPhones in the max size (having the iPhone 15 pro max and casetify mirror case for it), they feel the same but of course this is for my 17 Pro max; which roughly came in the same week (by the weekend being from AT&T being a month wait almost from first week of October) I got this case delivered. I tried it and it’s low profile and slim almost, great access to buttons and so on as similar to my previous case as I’ve mentioned. This however is all black pretty much with a stealthy glossy (not shiny or anything) type of surface. So far, they don’t have their cases for the precise correction for the camera layout as it’s just a simple rounded rectangle area (versus a covered rectangle area with hole cutouts for the 3 camera lens and the mic / light on the opposite side), so I may have to look into a 3 eye camera lens protector anyway. I haven’t really dropped my new 17 pro max yet (knock on wood) but with this case it gives more peace of mind. The MagSafe charging is solid and works and overall this is the case to get for you or even as a stocking stuffer gift as we’re one month away from the holidays at the time I’m writing this review.

Another Thin Plastic Case - Nothing Special

I a quite the phone case snob, and am very picky when it comes to my phone case. So this case, to me, is just another thin plastic phone case that is nothing special and does not stand out compared to all of the other plain plastic phone cases. If all you are looking for is something to keep the back and sides of your new phone scratch free and protect it from drops, I suppose this fits the bill. Also, the magnets work well for wireless charging. Here's my take on what I look for in a phone case and where this one doesn't measure up: Grip and Feel - For me, the grip and feel of a case is everything. I like a phone case that has slightly curved sides that are textured. The material should be slightly softer on the sides, like TPU, to assist with grip rather than the standard hard plastic. A case should not have any hard edges or corners that dig into my hand while I'm holding my phone. This Casetify case fails on both accounts. The claim is that is has an enhanced grip. While the sides are textured, the material is all hard plastic which still slips around. The case is also has hard edges with something like a ridge or seam on the left side rear edge. This will absolutely annoy me if I'm holding my phone for a long period. Other issues - the side buttons are not completely covered, allowing in more lint and dust. The inside of the case doesn't have any soft microfiber like material to protect the back of the phone in the case. What I assume are the wrist strap holes are up at the top, which is a horrible place for to put a wrist strap. I could keep going, but in summary, I'm not a fan of this case and wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is looking for a higher quality case.

This case was middle of the road. I liked the fact that it was eco friendly but that came with a price. First off it’s awfully heavy. They say that it’s built to withstand drops from over 6 feet, and while I didn’t test that out I don’t know if I’d trust it. It was very rigid and didn’t seem like it had what it took to protect the phone and to me it seemed like any shock damage would transfer right through it. The feel of the case was decent but it did add considerable bulk and heft to an already big phone with the size of the iPhone max pro. One other thing I noticed is that when charging wirelessly the back heated up considerably and that gave me concern if I needed to charge if for longer periods of time. Over all I don’t know if I would likely use this case long term. In a pinch it’s nice to have if I need one as an alternative to running my phone “naked” but overall I think if I had a choice I would probably go with a different brand or style, one that didn’t feel so big on top of the size of the phone and something that made me feel like it was going to absorb shock and not just transfer it to the phone itself.
