The GW2310-1 will retire my still functional Casio solar G shock G-2310D-8DR, which is no longer available. This new watch should endure just as much abuse as my first. This watch has simple and convenient features that have made this model a favorite, second to none. You will definitely enjoy! Interesting time line of events: I purchased my G-2310D-8DR on a secured line in the foothills of Afghanistan in 2002. The watch was then shipped to a Forward Operating Base in southern Afghanistan. The G-2310D-8DR held up to many harsh conditions in Afghanistan and Iraq: Combat Operations, Extreme Heat, Extreme Cold, High Altitudes and Water. For the curious, depths of water did not exceed 4 meters. There are a few differences between my old model versus the new. The GW2310-1 is atomic, has a resin band, no year display and does not have a data bank. I will definitely miss the stainless steel band as I am certain the resin band will be the first thing to fail. My only other solution is a custom made 550 paracord band.

I'm very pleased with this watch. I've owned many Casios over the years, but this is my first G-Shock. I love that it's a thick, sturdy watch without being too large or flashy. Best key features for me are: *The shockproof design *Awesome level of water resistance (200 meters) *Solar powered so the battery won't need replacing every couple years *The very cool automatic backlight *And of course, the daily automatic self setting to the atomic clock in CO. It's a great package with very nice features. My watch gets its signal every day at midnight and by 12:04, has updated the screen with the RCVD indicator, so I know it's perfectly accurate for yet another day. I hope it lasts a good, long time!

I bought it for work: I needed to have a watch that I can wash not only with water, but with clorox wipes (I am a nurse, so I need to sanitize them). I also banged them (accidentally) agains wall a few times and this watch do fine under so far. Plus, I like them so much that I wear them outside of work too -> they look very stylish and sporty.

The Casio Mens's G-Shock Solar Atomic Sports Watch, is an excellent invsetment, especially if you are into outdoor activities. It's easy to setup for a variety of World Time Zones, and in a matter of minutes when exposed to sunlight, you are charged. I also found the watch to be easy to read under a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions. In addition to all of it's pratical features, it is also a good looking watch. Finally, at the discounted price Best Buy is selling it for, you can't go wrong with the Casio G-Shock Solar Atomic Sports Watch.

Great sports watch with count down timer and other features. Durable, I've had 2 in my lifetime. Lasting 8-12 years. On my 3rd one .

This is a great watch for people that want a gshock but aren't ready to shell out 400 pluss on some of their higher end watches. I did a lot of research on gshock be for I bough this one. The solar is amazing and the multi band 6 is very nice so you never have to set it. Big read out and good placement of time and date.

This watch is a low maintenance timepiece that never needs winding and never needs to be set. What could be better?

This product is great. I truly never was a watch guy until I decided to buy this G-Schock. It's easy to use and tells time great. I will be bringing this watch to the military with me because it is so durable. Thanks Casio.

A great solar powered watch that works wonderfully well!

I bought this Casio watch only for time. Very attractive price, high quality, no worry about changing battery. But it is not smart device. If just want to get time, Casio G-Shock is definitely a smart choice.

This is my second Casio G-Shock watch is over 20 years. They last nearly forever. It keeps time accurately an automatically talks to the national clock and is solar powered which means that you need a battery change after 15 years or so. Excellent watch.

Needed a watch I could be in the water with to do my job. Works like it should and keeps time. What else could you ask for?

Great watch for everyday use. Not too bulky and a really nice fit. I love that I don't need to worry about the battery dying or setting the correct time.

Has everything I wanted: date, day of the week, waterproof, world time settings for travel. Reasonable price. Not too difficult to learn.

This watch is on it's way to me as I type this but I will be returning it since ONCE AGAIN, Best Buy has included misinformation about this watch being a step tracker or anything of the sort! This is copied and pasted for their website: "Metrics Measured Activity vs. inactivity, Calories burned, Hours slept, Stairs climbed, Steps taken". App Compatible No. This watch supposedly has WiFi but no Bluetooth and this watch through it's CASIO instructions from the CASIO website does not track any ACTIVITIES OR INACTIVITIES.

The G-Shock watch is great and perfect for my work life.

Works great. I bought the same one in white a couple years ago and wanted a back up in case anything happened to it. I work as an MRI tech and the watch isnt affected by the magnet (you can stick your arm inside the magnet).
