This is a very poor quality product with a lot of background noise using the internal mic or a good quality external mic. I can understand motor noise if the unit is sitting on a hard surface and using the built in mic, but it is just as bad or worse using a high quality hand held. Within the first 5 minutes of use, it has already ate one cassette tape

This is an old-fashioned cassette tape player , popular about 30 years ago. We bought it in order to play old cassettes, and it works fine. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it's perfect for kids who can operate it easily and it can weather rough handling as well.

I bought this for my husband who has vision problems. He uses it to record informations he would have written down. It serves very well for him because he goes back to replay it. Thank you Best Buy for having this we couldn’t find anywhere.

This item is somewhat difficult to find in most department stores. It works well, especially with the adapter and is easy to take along to lessons, rehearsals, etc.

I find that this cassette is better than the Jensen I had previously purchased. I find the convenience of using the cassette recorder is also valuable.

Arrived earlier than expected. Plays and records perfectly! No issues at all. Purchased this as a gift for my 18-year-old to record podcasts. I trust it enough to let her play all my old original cassettes. Bon Jovi tape sounds just as good now as back in the day.

This is the cassette recorder/player that I have found to be hard to find. But Best Buy had it. Actually had a choice between two devices. The one I chose has great playback sound quality and the recording quality is good also. The price was excellent.

I have many cassette tapes that I really enjoyed. My last recorder died after 25 years of use. The sound on this one is clear and sound as good as when I first bought them. I am thrilled to find this cassette recorder. Well worth the money.
