Well, like the critics said, this isn't the best representation of the play.

The costumes and makeup a great. The actors are true copycats when it comes to their "cat" moves. But, I haven't been able to sit through the whole movie yet. I want to like the movie, I usually love musicals. It hasn't held my attention for longer than about 15 minutes at a time.

One of the better remakes in a very long time. The live play was a little better.

Tells more of (in a different way) the story of 'Cats' than the original filmed theatrical production. I enjoyed the way they filmed this movie and the way the different characters were presented. I own both 'Cats' films and have seen this production in the theater - all versions are good, so enjoy!

The songs were alright....I was kinda slow in the middle part

I am a big fan of the play CATS. Movie is a disappointment in some of the voices. I thought it was imaginative telling and visually appealing Loaned it out to another who viewed with her young grandchild. child got bored and they did not finish

For those of you who couldn't get to Broadway to watch this famous play you would not be disappointed in this film it was beautifully made all the actors impressed me so much that I was glad I saw it pick it up today you and the family will love it

I. Love. This. Movie. It's such a strange thing to watch and to watch more than once. Friends of mine have experience fight or flight feelings while watching it, so it's really the perfect October feature film.

It's nothing to write home about. The stage musical is much better and bettert rounded and a better time. This is enough of a musical your kids might watch it and get into musicals

The Blu ray comes with the slipcover + for me. The movie is not the best movie of all times but its pretty good movie. We saw this on in the movies and I happy to have added this one to my collection.

I loved this movie. I had seen the musical twice in theaters and had difficulty understanding what was being said (though I enjoyed the music). Watching the movie helped me to understand the play better.

CATS is a FANTASTIC Movie Musical!! Don't take someones word on it...purchase it and watch it and you decide! The music is great! I have seen CATS on broadway and this is a keeper!

I found this musical to be outstanding When Jennifer Hudson sings it will bring tears to you eyes, The key to enjoying tis musical is to realize it is based on the Broadway play.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters in this movie. It's not as good as the Broadway production, but the scenery is worth viewing.

The story is lame but the songs and effects are good and seeing cats again on screen they did a good job opening up new possibilities.

Unlike many people I enjoyed this film. However I did a lot of theatre work when I was younger, so I liked the film because I understood the style. KW

didn't particularly care for some of the song productions - kind of hard to follow at times - probably won't watch it much

watch last night glad I did great movie don't know why so many people did not like it I love it people need to give this movie a chance.
