Good movie and well done having scene it as a play

I told myself that I wouldn’t pay for this movie and I kept my promise. I found an unused bestbuy gift card that I received as a gift. Seeing as how I am a collector I figured I needed this in my collection.

It's often very weird and has plenty of badly misjudged moments. But, the music is good and some of the numbers are well staged.

Saw this on Broadway many years back. While it was a bit of a wild fantasy then, it was very entertaining. This version is over the top visually distracting. The music however is still good.

Can't say I was ever enamored with the Broadway play. The whole Jellicle Cats storyline never took hold for me. Elaine Paige singing memories was the redeeming highlight of the Play, Jennifer Hudson is not suited (excuse the pun) to sing the signature work of this film. Her voice is far too powerful and dynamic to handle a piece of music that demands subtlety and smoothness of tone and depth. Don't waste your time on this one unless you need to see how they incorporated the computer graphics onto the final product to produce the feline coats

Not as enjoyable as the stage performance. But as a fan I can only say the movie makes me appreciate the live show more.

Not for everyone! This is a straight up musical! Definitely for cat lovers! I will probably never watch it again.

I saw this in the theater as a joke, and was blown away by the terrible quality of this movie. Nothing about this movie is good, and it's insanely hard to follow, the sound design is atrocious, obviously the CGI is terrible, etc. I would not recommend this *thing* to anyone who is looking for an actual film. I bought this already knowing how terrible it is.

Its awful. Like the worst. But my kids like watching it.
