Great for viewing eclipse or plant transiants. Easy to use.

Optics are good but 10X magnification isn't enough to see good detail of the Sun. A tripod helps steady it so you can see sunspots. It's not a bad low cost way to look at eclipses but you can't see any real detail on the sun's surface. Disappointing in that respect.

I took the filters out to watch a SpaceX launch from Vandenberg AFB and the optics were very clear and focus ws easy. I'll update in August after the eclipse on the filters.

Worked great for the eclipse. I "practiced" using by looking at the sun in the days before. Everything was as expected.

I bought these binoculars for viewing the eclipse. They seem to function great. Looking forward to using them.

Exactly what we were looking for to get another way to view the eclipse. Inexpensive and easy to carry. Solar binoculars are only for viewing light and dark and won't work as a "spare" for birdwatching.

Don't expect this to be more than you pay for, it's a 30-35 dollar lens for a very specific task which is looking at the sun during an eclipse. For that they work perfectly, the blocking portion is a pair of two darkening lenses. These are removable, but it isn't recommended. They do bring the sun in to larger than the naked eye would perceive, and you can see the edge clearly.

They worked as I had hoped, I can find sun spots and was able to observer the recent annular eclipse quite easily.

I bought these solar filtered binoculars for the 2017 total eclipse of the sun. The EclipSmart 10x25 binoculars provided a good view of the sun during the partial eclipse phases of the event. They are also good for looking at sun spots.

It was very hard to even know if we were seeing what we wanted to see. We bought them for the eclipse and I got more enjoyment using a pin hole in a box method to view the eclipse. Maybe we just did it wrong but that just speaks to the product not being bery user friendly. They feel very well made and sturdy thats why I gave it 2 stars but disappointed for why we bought them.

Viewed the 2017 eclipse with these. Great size. Was able to see sunspots.
