However, do not get this if you want to see any planets in detail. Could barely break out the moons around Jupiter and rings around Saturn. Mars is just a dot as well.

Not worth the money...save up for a better scope!

This is a good moon scope, but anything more than that, you will be disappointed. I even invested in better lenses and that resulted in marginal improvement. I could see Saturn and its moons. But I only knew it was Saturn because of the Starsense app. I found Jupiter and could barely make out the rings. It is so small that it is not worth the effort.
