This telescope is completely underwhelming. I feel like I wasted my money and I am returning it. $400 is a lot for this bad telescope. Their customer support is non-existent also. Just an awful company. I would avoid Celestron completely if I were you.

    Flimsy construction

The telescope was constructed with a very flimsy screw in the eyepiece mounting area. It came broken off and it would have been near impossible to remove the embedded end in order to replace it. The screw itself appeared to be something like plastic with a very thin metal cladding. The second star is because Best Buy was very good in providing a full refund.

We purchased the telescope based on prior reviews. Found it to be very sensitive to any touching to perform adjustments, and amplification to be less than my hunting binoculars. Returned unit for a refund.

If I can give a zero I would or maybe the one I received is just that bad. First of all there is ONLY one clamp screw that is holding the telescope to the tripod. 2nd of all and the biggest upset is when I tried to focus the finder, I saw nothing through the eyepieces. The night that I took it out was clear sky. The moon was shinning brightly and stars were everywhere. When I tried to look at the moon, the apps told me to turn the scope like away from the moon. I even pointed the scope back to the moon and tried to focus the finders but saw nothing through the eyepiece. Taking this garbage back to Best Buy. If they can't fix it then I want my refund. I'm not trading $500 for a piece of garbage.

There is nothing can offer for a real Constellation of the universe. The apps is just a form of control/remote technologies that has nothing to do with thing you wish to look in the sky! Simply as false lenses and false imagination of the sky.
