I probably should have checked this before i bought and installed it lol. Turns out it's not compatible with my existing opener so I ended up returning it. The install was east and pretty straightforward. Just wish it was compatible with my system.

Always had problems with my garage remotes not working. When my car got totaled in an accident and didn't get my garage remote out of the vehicle, I thought I would give this a try. I love it!!! Having four vehicles, I can open the garage from any vehicle. More cost effective than replacing remotes and batteries.

Install was easy on paper, but one small omission in the instructions lead to a help desk call to complete process. Once installed the product has worked great. Performs as advertised with no problems. Gets the job done. I have not experienced Un-commanded activations I read about in early reviews.

I bought this to fix my problem of leaving for work and wondering if I left the garage door open or if I shut it. With this you can just check the app and see if it is open or closed. I further added this into Apple’s HomeKit and now I can tell Siri to open or close my garage door so it is even more convenient. Also, if my neighbor or friend need something from my garage, I can open it from anywhere for them and then close it when they are done.

If you like techy gadgets and like automating your home with your smartphone, this is worth your time and money. Extremely easy setup (about 15 minutes). The only negative is that about 10% of the time it takes the app a little long to connect to WiFi and open/close the door. Not a deal breaker but occasionally having to wait 30 seconds for it to connect may not seem like a long time but it is when you're trying to get the door closed and be on your way. Again, this only happens about 10% of the time so I've subtracted one star from my review based on this.

Works as advertised. Was easy to set up. Have it set to send alert if garage door is left open for more than 15 minutes. Nice to always be able to tell if door is open or closed.

I bought this because my wife would periodically leave our garage door open all night. And, with thousands of $'s of tools, snow blowers, lawn mowers and other items that could easily grow feet, I needed a way to check when I'm in bed if the garage door is open at 2:00 AM! And the Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Controller with their iPhone app has not only made that possible, but I can now sleep without worry! This thing works like a charm and was incredibly easy to install! So if you want to know the status of your garage from bed at night, or anywhere around the world where you have an internet connection, you need this device!

Very easy install, very simple to use especially with the app. I have had it for over a year and never had any issues! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Hooked this up and had it running in less than 15 minutes. Works great you can check your garage door from anywhere and close it or open it if needed. Like the product a lot

I thought this device would work well but it's not reliable. Can't open garage from the outside, there's a lag when closing the garage, there's a siren when closing the garage. I originally thought that my WiFi was too far, but even putting my wifi in the garage close to the device didn't fix the issue. The siren is claimed to be for safety reasons, in case there's a child, but most modern garage now have sensors for this. The two stars is for the innovation, they just need to improve it some more.

Works well. Set up had some issues. Entered info on smartphone and was supposed to receive an email so I could complete registration before being able to use. Didn't get email. Spent an hour on phone to get it resolved.

Easy to install and it works great! Very handy with the custom notifications and being able to open your garage doors from anywhere. Works with. It's openers too!

Well my wife bought this as a birthday present. She enjoy it as much as I do. I gave it four stars because we both can load app on our phone to close the door, but I am the only one get the emails if door is left open . I have a smart home, so can create alarms with Wink that will notify myself and wife. You can check the status from anywhere or no need to use the key code any more. It was a simple install. It did not interfere with my other openers.

Bought this unit a couple of weeks ago. I was able to get as far as installing and connecting wifi. The directions are very straight forward and it took me about 15 minutes. However, When I got to the point of registering the device, the app just didn't seem to accept my info. After numerous tries, I gave up. I decided to try again 2 weeks later and it worked like a charm. Not sure why but so far its been working perfectly synced to my Genie garage door opener.

This was much easier to setup both in the garage and on the network than we anticipated. App has had a few issues, but we were notified that they are working on it.

Install was very simple and straight forward on this product. I no longer use my garage door opener - which is also safer as I don't have a garage door opener in my car overnight. This works with a lot of openers. A few people that have come by my house liked this product enough to purchase it also for theirs. This product will work if you have 2 separate garage door openers also, you just need to purchase the extra sensor from the manufacturer. This is an amazing product!

keeps losing sign in, have had to restore codes several times and not as convenient as anticipated. My wife went back to remote she was so frustrated

I had high hopes for this garage door opener but unfortunately it did not work with my system. The Android app needs some loving.

I purchased two of these openers (on for each door). The installation was straightforward and painless. Once I registered with the MyQ website I was up and running within 30 minutes - start to finish. About my only complain is that I have been getting false positives on the alerting when the door is opened. This causes some of my other home automation to get confused as there are multiple IFTTT scripts in play for the home automation.

I think this is an amazing product, and very convenient to have to open and close your garage when coming and going. It's even more useful as a pet owner to let the dog sitter in the house through the garage while out of town....
