Works just as it's supposed to. After accidentally leaving the garage door open more than a few times, I decided to look into a remote solution. I found Chamberlain had their own MyQ solution for a remote garage door opener. I was about to purchase a numerical keypad to put on the outside of the garage door but with this, I didn't have to. It took less than 30 minutes for the installation. Very easy to use. App works great! Highly recommended.

I bought this controller because I couldn't stand that nagging little voice in my head that kept asking if I had remembered to close the garage door after I pulled away from the house, or after I went upstairs when I got back home. Now I just open the Chamberlain app on my phone and I can see its status from wherever I am, and open or close it remotely. Comes in handy when my normal opener's battery goes dead as well! Easy setup. Love this product!

This thing is pretty cool. Instructions were pretty easy to follow -- open box, and install on the garage ceiling. Walk through a few steps to get it set on wifi and boom, its working. I had this set up in 10 or 15 minutes total and now get the peace of mind to monitor my door ups and downs.

The opener works as stated. However, it wasn't until I contacted customer service that I got it to work. Jen helped me and was patient and amazingly helpful and readily acknowledged that the instructions were not accurate and lead to problems. She also was very patient in helping me reprogram the other remotes for the garage door that got nullified because of initial poor instructions. Saved me from returning yet another product

This was very easy to set up and works great. I have it linked to my Wink system and it communicates well. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because rarely, the product alerts saying my garage door is open, then within a minute alerts that it is closed again when nothing has happened. Hasn't given me a problem yet, so I'm pretty happy.

This is not a product you should need much with the regular garage remotes and such, but when you do need it, it is well worth it. If you're like me and have made even one trip all the way back home because you couldn't remember if you closed your garage, this product is for you.

Took forever to connect but once connected works well

Ever drive away from your house with several things on your mind and as you head down the road think, "Did I close the garage door"? Well this device and smartphone app answers that question. If you have more than one home and have family in both homes at the same time, you can both remotely monitor and control the position of your garage door(s). Easy to install, works as claimed - a great product.

Easy to install, works great, once installed and the app is downloaded it works as advertised. Peace of mind to be able to use your smart phone to check status of garage door and to be able to open or close it from anywhere is great. Highly recommended.

Installation was a little tricky but I was able to install it with no real problems. I have loaded the app to my NOTE 4 smartphone and can easily operate and monitor both garage doors (I have 2 of the remotes). Remote notifications are routinely received when I am away from home. Product works as promised.

I tried using a MyQ kit from Chamberlain as that is what I installed at home. My shop had openers that were too old to work with it. I found these and saw they would work. Easy to configure and add to Wink hub. I actually installed them by the push buttons on the wall that are for opening the doors, and wired them parallel to these switches. No need to get out a ladder.

I had been wanting to find a new garage door opener that I could control from an app. With this device I used my current garage door opener and now can see the status of my garage door, including how long it has been opened or closed. It was relatively easy to install and the android app works well on my blackberry 10 device and the ios app works well on my ipad air.

After leaving the house several times and being asked the question "is the garage door closed?" I decided to read up on this product. After purchasing the MyQ and installing I can say it is the best electronic device we have in the house. And, we have many. Easy installation, good Quick start instructions and great customer suipport. Recommend without reservation!

Very easy to install and get setup. Works perfectly to open and close my garage door via my iPhone. Only issue I have is a few false alerts. I suspect the door is being bumped when my lawn service is doing the yard and that causes a message to my phone saying the door is opened when it is not.

For the most part works well and I like the fact that I can control my garage doors remotely. Main downside is there's been 2-3 false alarms in the 3months I've had it, telling me garage door is open when it's not. I have a camera in garage to confirm that it's still closed.

Easy to set up and install. Pairing with my older garage door took a bit of internet research, but once I found the correct color for my programming button it worked like a charm. My only gripe, thus 4 stars, is the lack of a public API to read status of the door and open/close.

I had my doubts about this garage door controller but boy was I pleased after setting it up. It's very easy to install and get working with minimal effort. It works great. The app on my phone and tablet let's me see the status of the door and tells you how long it's been open or closed. I can open or close the door anywhere. I have a camera also in my garage so I can see what it's doing. It's great to have available for use even if I don't use it all the time. I use it to let my neighbor into my garage to drop off packages when I'm out of town. When you close the door remotely it blinks a bright light on the ceiling to let anyone around know that the door is closing. Not much for a manual but you don't need it. Very happy with my purchase.

I had a hard time setting up controller with my Android phone. Once I switched to my ipod it was easy to install. Unfortunately my car garage door opener stopped working so had reestablish that connection. I'm considering purchasing a second sensor for my other door.

I ended up returning it after spending 2+ hours on the phone with support trying to get it connected. They told ME to go buy a new battery?? They also told me repeatedly that it's very finicky. Plus the instructions that come with it are not very detailed. The rep was telling me to do things that weren't in the instructions. In the end they wanted to escalate my issue as my unit needed something replaced. I wanted it yo work and will probably buy another one and try it again. The concept is great and it would work in conjunction with my Hue and Nest. Good luck and i hope you have better luck than me!
