This is nice because it shows whether my garage door is open or not and notifies me. It does not integrate with Xfinity home to alarm if door is open. It also only actually opens door about half the time.

Overall I've had the product over several months and although it comes in handy, the performance has been sub-par. Connecting and pairing it with the garage opener somewhat a lengthy process which was somewhat buggy because it wouldn't connect. The remote sensor also periodically will get stuck and report the wrong status of the garage door. Now, after coming back from a week of vacation, I've found out that the main controller is now completely off and won't even turn on.

While it tells you the status of your garage door (s) you can NOT schedule your door (s) to close as advertised. Setup was not bad for my first door but had to call support for the second door.

I have left my garage door open a couple of times.

I set mine up fine but every once in a while after a power outage or something it loses it's mine. I bought one for my Dad, it's still in his garage :(

Initiailly we could not get the product to work and neither could the company. We got it replaced and have had multiple problems with the new one, including the night my daughter went into labor

Bought this because of the phone app ability to control my garage door. There have been connectivity issues and it doesn't always work. When functioning it works great.

We were ao excited to purchase this garage opener... Until we installed it. Didnt work, so we returned it and tried another one... Still didnt work. Huge disappointment. Dont buy.

I was hesitant about purchasing this, as I felt it was more of a luxury item. It turns out, it is very nice to have. I bought this when it was on sale for around $90. Me and my wife's garage remotes quit working, and new ones were roughly $35/piece. Instead of buying new ones, I just purchased the Myq. With the Myq, we can just use our phones to open the door now, and get alerts when the garage opens and closes. It is nice to quickly check on the go, if we forgot to close the door. The installation was a breeze, and everything was installed, and connected within 30 minutes. It works flawlessly with my Note 4, and wife's Iphone 6. The app does take about 5 to 10 seconds to load up, but it's not a dealbreaker. There is a picture of a garage door, and you just tap it to open or close the door. The app tells you when the door has successfully shut or opened. The only negatives right now, are the price, and alert that sounds when the door is closing. First, the price is a bit high for what you get. There is a hub that connects your opener to your phone. There is also a sensor that installs on your door, that lets the hub know when it's opened or closed. For $130, it's rather pricey. Even for $90, I had to really think if it was worth it. Secondly, there is an alert that chimes for 15-20 seconds when the door closes. It is very loud, and I haven't found a way to quiet or silence it. It is a safety feature that sounds to let people know the door is about to close. I'm sure some electrical tape around the speaker will muffle the sound, but I wish there was a volume control knob. Besides the two small negatives, I've been happy with the Myq. It connected no problem with my Chamberlain Security + opener. If it's on sale, I'd say get it.

Didn't work with my opener. App is extremely touchy

returned my opener is not wifi and the specs did not state that. you need to buy another device for $100.00 to make standard opener a wifi compatible.

Setup was easy and it's great at letting you know when the door is open or not, but it often has a problem with opening or closing the door saying "server not available". There is also no local control. You must go through their server.

I could not get this product to work with my Genie garage door, even though it said it works with Genie and most garage doors made after 1993 (I believe that was the year). I followed the instructions to the letter, and it connected to my WiFi network, but would NOT synchronize with my garage door to open and close using the MyQ app. The MyQ garage door sensor sort of worked in that it sometimes showed that the garage door was open or closed and for how long, but did not show the correct status all the time. In fact, it was wrong most of the time. After a few days of trying, I returned this product.
