Great Controller

I don't have to wonder anymore because it sends me alerts right to my phone and tablet to let me know when the door is open and when it is closed. Great idea!

Great way to know if your garage is open

I see that as another safety feature on my house.

Ended up returning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The concept of the MyQ is completely amazing although we ended up returnin the product over the smallest thing. Whenever garage door closes it makes a really loud noise which is supposed to let anyone around know that the door is closing, but it's so loud it would wake up the neighbors. I wish this would be fixed or added as an option because I would purchase it again. Installation was also very simple. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if they issue an upgraded version.

It just started beeping and flashing... :-) But that's to warn anyone wandering around by the door. Opens immediately, closes after 30 seconds to a minute of warnings. Safety first... ;) I liked it so much I had my dad get a set (this Controller + an extra sensor for the 2nd door) for his house, too.

Cool but with some issues.

When it created its connection with the garage door opener it also change the code which made the actual clickers for the garage door no longer functioning. Now I will have to go and reestablish a connection with the clickers.
