Easy to install and the alerts are great. The app shows when door is open or close with times when it was opened or closed if option is activated on app.....will buy for other door shortly.

Great if you tent to forget things like closing the garage door.

It took me 5 minutes to install, and another 3 to setup. This system is great and easy to use. I can also create some alerts in case I forget my doors are open (which happens to me all the time). The iOS app is not great though

Been using it for a month. Install was relatively easy, but could be tricky if you're not familiar with how to program your existing garage door remotes (in reviews, looks like many folks held down their garage door learn button too long and wiped all of their remotes). App is ok, but could be improved to support multiple users (vs. a single account) and it's too easy to open the door by accident when you open the app to check on status. Notifications are mostly accurate, though sometimes it's misses an open or close. Also, had it once show that my door was open even though it was actually closed, not good if you're not at home since you don't know if when hitting the button, if you're actually opening or closing door. But overall, a decent step in home automation.

If you have an older garage door then this is the thing for you because the newer garage door openers all have Wi-Fi and you will not need this up until recently I used this for the last two years and found it to be an excellent product I can't tell you how many times I've left my house wondering if I left the garage door open or I did I close it that was no more after I bought this if I needed to let someone in my house I could simply go to the app on my phone and open up the garage door very simple to use very very very easy to install highly recommended if you have an older garage door unit again all the other units out there that are newer will have this system installed via Wi-Fi

The MyQ works as it should. It alerts me timely on my smartphone when my door is opened and will also allow me to control it remotely. My only gripe with it is that the iOS and Android app needs an interface overhaul. From a design perspective it is lacking tremendously.

This can be a bit trick to setup and get working just right but once up and running it works like a champ. The app is easy and straight forward to use to control your garage door. Only thing I wish it would allow is control with my amazon echo.

I bought this to control my garage door trough my phone but it wasn't compatible with my garage door and could only monitor it. I still put it to good use. Cons - sometimes it gives you a false notification.

This connected to my wifi and works just as it's advertised to do.I've had no issues with it aside from how sometimes it may be slow to work. Definitely a great alternative to buying another remote or if you just want to have control with your phone.

Install is a breeze. The base station that talks to the garage door opener has a light and speaker that will flash and beep before the door closes to alert anyone around that the door is about to close. The app is simple but effective. When I first installed mine I set it up to allow for a notification if the door was open for more than five minutes. This alert did not work for the first 2 weeks. Now it seems to be working fine. I'd like to see a version that has a wide eye camera lens that you can view from the app to see the garage.

This has saved me more than the price in gas already. I no longer have to drive back to the house to make sure the garage door didn't somehow open back up as I was driving away. Setup was less than 15 minutes and would have been less than 10 if I could have believed the instructions about how little there was too it. Has given me a level of sanity I have not known in years.

It works how it's supposed to, get alerts on time and app works great too. A few things would make it even better would be if you could set it to keep sending you notifications as long as the door is open. Many times I get a notification that it opened but then I forgot about it and end up leaving the garage door open for hours. Another thing is, it can only control a Max of 2 doors, if you have a 3 door garage you would have to buy another. Also you can connect it to IFTTT but for some reason Chamberlain makes you say for it. Which is a shame since the IFTTT app is free and no other app charges you to link to it.
