I bought this over 2 years ago and it still works like new. It was easy to install right out of the box and it has functioned flawlessly ever since. It is a must have to manage your Chamberlain smart garage door.

Easy to setup with clear instructions. I can now control my garage door through the MyQ app on my phone and am notified every time the door is open or shut.

I recently installed the Chamberlain Smart Q Garage Door Opener, and it has exceeded all my expectations! The setup was straightforward, thanks to the detailed instructions and user-friendly app. It connected seamlessly to my Wi-Fi and smart home system, allowing me to control my garage door remotely with ease. The app notifications are a game-changer – I can see when the door opens or closes in real-time, providing peace of mind when I'm away. The integration with Alexa/Google Assistant adds another layer of convenience, as I can now check the door's status or operate it with simple voice commands. The build quality is excellent, and it operates quietly, which is a nice upgrade from my old opener. Plus, the sleek design complements my garage space perfectly. So far so great. I love it but I have a few wishlist items. First the great. It took to my 15 year old Genie Pro Lift Screw Drive garage opener in about 30 seconds and works flawlessly from the MYQ app. The app is instant. If I hit "open" it opens faster than the app refreshes to show it's opening. If I hit close, same. WIthin a split second it's warning me the door is going to close. The wishlist. I wish we could activate the LED light on the hub. Right now the only purpose it serves is as a warning light that the door is closing. This does me no good because I have it in an enclosed space off the garage. I'd like to activate it as a light. I'd also really like it incorporated into Google Home. It works with assistant just fine but having it all be at a glance in home would be ideal. (protip: make a routine in assistant to close the garage door. It's easy to program the words "close the garage" to talk to MyQ without asking it to talk to MyQ.) Finally, a start/stop to vent the garage door. Sometimes I like to work in the garage but with the door opened just a foot or two to keep out light/prying eyes but still vent the garage. This does not have that ability but my wall mounted button still works so it's not a big deal. Otherwise, this thing is a bargain for what it does. I really like being in bed, wondering if the door is closed a before I drift off and not have to get up and check. It's a comfort and safety device. You can't be disappointed with this.

Doesn’t take much to install. (Video is the best) once installed makes it easy to let others in.. But my favorite is looking to see if you forgot to close your garage door. You can simply look at the app and it will tell you if it’s open or closed. And if open you can close it! No need to run back home to check, call the neighbors or worry.

This is exactly what I needed. I have 2 Chamberlain garage door openers in my current garage - from the late '90s - and was looking to bring them into the modern era. I don't like complicated stuff and I can assure you that this Chamberlain myQ hub is as about as simple as it gets. I literally installed/set up the whole thing in less than 15 minutes. Do you know what the hardest part was? Getting the plastic off the silly adhesive strips to stick the node on the garage door! Everything else worked like clockwork. Download the myQ app. Set up an account. Plug the hub into the wall and pair to the node. Add it to your local Wi-Fi network. Stick the node on the garage door. Hit the 'learn' button on your garage door opener - and you're done! If you want to mount the hub on your garage wall/ceiling you can. It's okay sitting on a shelf too. And this set-up plays nicely with your Ring system if you have that going on in your house and want to sync up everything, and show it all in the Ring app. It's literally just another 2 minutes to take care of that. What else can you buy for less than $30 that does all of this? One last note.... I have 2 separate garage doors in my garage, running on 2 separate garage door openers. I decided to buy a hub for each one. In theory, to clarify, in this situation, you could buy one hub (which comes with one node) and then you could buy an extra node separately to stick on your 2nd garage door - and run it off one hub. I decided that was too much hassle and I don't even know where you'd buy a single node anyway. With running 2 hubs for my 2 garage doors they just show up as 2 separate doors in the myQ app (you just name them Door 1 and Door 2 or whatever). I don't know how it would look in the myQ app if a person had one hub and was running 2 nodes, for 2 garage doors, off that one hub. Lastly - some people are complaining on here about there being a 10-12 second delay (with some beeping and lights flashing) when closing the garage door via myQ app. This is normal. This is a safety feature. It really isn't that big of a deal. Also, I evidently don't have the strongest Wi-Fi signal in my garage (although it's possible with the myQ set-up wrapped into my Ring system that my Chime Pro might be extending the Wi-Fi signal to the myQ set-up in my garage better now).... but everything happens pretty much instantaneously when issuing garage door commands through the myQ app. I'm very happy with the responsiveness. A few years ago, I lived at a place where a brand-new garage door opener was installed with built-in myQ... my set-up I have put together here today is just as good as that one was. Again.. all for less than $30 for a single myQ hub.

The product is good & functions as it is designed to function. It is easy to setup & install in 10mins. The only issue I have is the application’s connectivity issue. At times it won’t connect as intended. It could take several minutes to connect to the devices to open the garage door. The other issue is closing. I understand it’s a safety issue, once you select “close” & it connects to the device, it beeps for a minute or so before the garage door closes. Maybe, there should be a way to shorten the time it takes between clicking close & the actual initiation of closing the garage door.

Easy setup. My harage door opener is suppposed to habe MyQ, but it wont connect. This solved that issue! Super easy to setup. Can also connect to amazon prime to have them deliver packages into your garage. Can also share the link with family, so they can get in/out of the garage.

Installation was very simple, it works flawlessly, it is tla great addition to my Chamberlain garage door opener. I bought it at a really good price!

If you have an old garage door, this is an absolute must!! Simple, and pretty quick install and amazing convenience for the price!

I brought this for my father in law's garage. They has an old system which need to be automated. I really liked the app and it wireless connectivity feature and allowing all family members to control the garage from their phones. Also it give notification if you leave the garage door open.

Great addition to a standard garage door opener that doesn’t offer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. It took a little while to setup with my current garage door motor but once linked it works great! There are some moments where it doesn’t seem to open/close 100% of the time but overall it beats paying for an upgraded motor.

This chamberlain smart garage control was a breeze to set and install. In 30 minutes (maybe less) I was able to connect it to my wifi, connect the sensor, the app on my phone and install the controller on the garage ceiling with the drywall anchor and screws it came. Super easy. I can see when the garage is open or closed, get notification if we leave it open and close the garage door remotely if I do. I'm going to the add sensor tomorrow for the other garage door...this unit will control both.

I purchased this to be able to remotely control my garage door for deliveries and family/friends while they are visiting. It has been a huge lifesaver. It had accurate instructions and was a pretty easy setup. Please ensure you have a power outlet close to where it's installed. I was able to use the same outlet my garage door motor is plugged in to. The hardest part at first was keeping it connected to my extended Wi-Fi. It seemed to go out every other week. Once I got my wifi extender positioned in a better location, I haven't had any troubles with it disconnecting. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Didn’t really think I would need this since we have a traditional garage opener. However, it’s been great being able to look at the app and see if I’ve forgotten to close the garage. I also like it’s integration with Amazon Key, allowing my more expensive packages to be delivered safely in my home. Paired up with the Garage camera, I can also keep an eye on my garage when I’m away. Just wish it had HomeKit compatibility. I’d like to have this on my CarPlay and not have to pull out my phone to use the app.

Solid product, easy to use. Wish I knew Chamberlin was giving them away for $0.99 on their website before buying this one. :(
