I purchased this to be able to remotely control my garage door for deliveries and family/friends while they are visiting. It has been a huge lifesaver. It had accurate instructions and was a pretty easy setup. Please ensure you have a power outlet close to where it's installed. I was able to use the same outlet my garage door motor is plugged in to. The hardest part at first was keeping it connected to my extended Wi-Fi. It seemed to go out every other week. Once I got my wifi extender positioned in a better location, I haven't had any troubles with it disconnecting. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I brought this for my father in law's garage. They has an old system which need to be automated. I really liked the app and it wireless connectivity feature and allowing all family members to control the garage from their phones. Also it give notification if you leave the garage door open.

This product works great! Easy to setup and install. Also works great with Amazon so they can leave packages in the garage to protect them from the elements and porch pirates. Can open and close from anywhere as long as you have a connection and also check to see that the door is closed if you happen to drive off and forget if you closed it or not. If you happened to forget, can close it right from the app.

I was reluctant to get a smart garage door opener but really needed it mostly for monitoring purposes. I will say I’ve been fairly pleased with it. Consistent and easy to setup. Deducting one star for lack of Apple HomeKit compatibility. These companies, and Chamberlain is one of them, need to get on board. If another similar HomeKit option comes out then I’m switching.

Great addition to a standard garage door opener that doesn’t offer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. It took a little while to setup with my current garage door motor but once linked it works great! There are some moments where it doesn’t seem to open/close 100% of the time but overall it beats paying for an upgraded motor.

I like this smart garage control. Sometimes my remote for the garage is unreliable, and this device makes it much easier. As long as I have the app on my phone, it lets me know if my garage open or closed. Very convenient and gives you a sense of safety.

Works well as an after market way to add smart capabilities to an old garage door opener. I'm pretty sure our current opener came with the house in '92 by it still works. No advanced wiring is necessary. This also worked to with the Tesla integration so my door opens when I get home and closes when I leave automatically. The open/close sensor mounts on the door and operates as a tilt sensor. This works 90% of the time but fails and misrepresents the door state when it is partially open for some reason. If the sensor detects one state, tries to toggle, and the state does not change, then it will no longer try to control the door remotely until its manually opened/closed to reset the sensor. These issues caused a problem once where the door was open by the sensor. When I attenpted to toggle remotely, it finished opening the door. The opener expected it to toggle to close so it through a fit leaving my door open while I was away. I had to drive home from work to manually close the door. I have another contact sensor and a camera in my driveway and garage to know when the door opener isn't working as expected.

This product was so easy to install and I love that it is connected to my phone so I can check to make sure my garage door is closed or open. This is definitely an added security for peace of mind.

Fantastic product for the price. I can give my brother the ability to use the garage door when he's taking care of my dog and to my housekeeper. Also I am alerted when the door is open and if someone forgets to close it, I can close it remotely.

I like this very convenient to open garage door i lost the remote from my door but this is way better alerts you when the door is open or closed

Easy to install and connect to Wifi. The Phone App is your remote to opening or closing your garage door, plus you get notified who and when your garage door was open or closed. Only complain is....if your home internet is done you out of luck!

This is my second MyQ smart garage door controller install at another house we just bought, The first one is working great after 2 years. You can open and close your garage door away from home using an app on your phone. The app tells you garage door open or closed status anytime you want. You get notified on opens and closes as well. Easy to install. Truly fantastic!

If you have an old garage door, this is an absolute must!! Simple, and pretty quick install and amazing convenience for the price!
