Had a heck of a time getting this set up even though it was compatible with my garage door opener. Long story short, I had to remove the lightbulb from the motor in order for this to pair. I'm guessing there were some sort of interference but it took me hours to troubleshoot that. Other than that, it has worked flawlessly.

I was reluctant to get a smart garage door opener but really needed it mostly for monitoring purposes. I will say I’ve been fairly pleased with it. Consistent and easy to setup. Deducting one star for lack of Apple HomeKit compatibility. These companies, and Chamberlain is one of them, need to get on board. If another similar HomeKit option comes out then I’m switching.

I like this smart garage control. Sometimes my remote for the garage is unreliable, and this device makes it much easier. As long as I have the app on my phone, it lets me know if my garage open or closed. Very convenient and gives you a sense of safety.

This product works great! Easy to setup and install. Also works great with Amazon so they can leave packages in the garage to protect them from the elements and porch pirates. Can open and close from anywhere as long as you have a connection and also check to see that the door is closed if you happen to drive off and forget if you closed it or not. If you happened to forget, can close it right from the app.

Love it works very well. Easy to set up. Hughly recommend.

I like this very convenient to open garage door i lost the remote from my door but this is way better alerts you when the door is open or closed

This product was so easy to install and I love that it is connected to my phone so I can check to make sure my garage door is closed or open. This is definitely an added security for peace of mind.

Works well as an after market way to add smart capabilities to an old garage door opener. I'm pretty sure our current opener came with the house in '92 by it still works. No advanced wiring is necessary. This also worked to with the Tesla integration so my door opens when I get home and closes when I leave automatically. The open/close sensor mounts on the door and operates as a tilt sensor. This works 90% of the time but fails and misrepresents the door state when it is partially open for some reason. If the sensor detects one state, tries to toggle, and the state does not change, then it will no longer try to control the door remotely until its manually opened/closed to reset the sensor. These issues caused a problem once where the door was open by the sensor. When I attenpted to toggle remotely, it finished opening the door. The opener expected it to toggle to close so it through a fit leaving my door open while I was away. I had to drive home from work to manually close the door. I have another contact sensor and a camera in my driveway and garage to know when the door opener isn't working as expected.

Fantastic product for the price. I can give my brother the ability to use the garage door when he's taking care of my dog and to my housekeeper. Also I am alerted when the door is open and if someone forgets to close it, I can close it remotely.

This product was super easy to install and seamlessly connects with my existing Ring products; which I didn’t even know was possible when I purchased it. 10 out of 10 andwould highly recommend!

Easy to install and connect to Wifi. The Phone App is your remote to opening or closing your garage door, plus you get notified who and when your garage door was open or closed. Only complain is....if your home internet is done you out of luck!

Solid product, easy to use. Wish I knew Chamberlin was giving them away for $0.99 on their website before buying this one. :(

This is my second MyQ smart garage door controller install at another house we just bought, The first one is working great after 2 years. You can open and close your garage door away from home using an app on your phone. The app tells you garage door open or closed status anytime you want. You get notified on opens and closes as well. Easy to install. Truly fantastic!

Installation was relatively easy and straightforward. With only a few weeks of use so far, the unit has performed without negative issues. The goal of being able to monitor the status of my garage door at any tome and from anywhere has been met.

This is my second set for our garage… they work so well. AND cheaper than batteries! I’ll keep buying them because they last years.

Easy to install. Works as intended 95% of the time. Sometimes it tells me the door is offline.

Needed a solution to control door via phone. Surprised to find it for this price range. It doesn't haven't automated close after few minutes which would be a good feature to have. Does the job for the price.
