This product was recommended by Technology Associates to solve my garage door keypad issues. They set the unit up in under 15 minutes. It works great. It has been in use for a few months. My Garage door keypad also works, so there is no conflict. The keypad had become unreliable every winter.

This works well with our existing opener and camera.

Very easy to install. Can operate 2 doors with the same base unit. Just need to get a second door sensor. Nice to be able to verify the door is closed. Used to check with a camera, but now I can close the door is it is open! Absolutely recommend!

It really is a great device if you don't have a smart garage door opener this makes it smart. Seamless setup process, though keep in mind that based on garage door opener you might need to try multiple times. I use it with my Tesla and have a myq subscription which opens and closed automatically when you leave or come back and also integrated with Mercedes Benz and works like a charm!!! Taking away a star is because I had to try try multiple times to get it working, yes right I bought this device multiple times and returned as it didn't work with my garage door opener initially. But got lucky recently and seems like myQ keeps working on updating the every possible garage door opener to make it compatible.

Easy setup and installation. Eliminates the problem I was having with the existing garage remotes and make overall access so much better.

My garage door opener is a Chamberlain quite whisper from 2011 and getting this to pair up didn’t work the way the app was asking me. The lean button was not lighting up and was very frustrating to say the least. I ended up going to my opener on the wall and going thru the menu options and using the lean in my myq setting, then everything synced up right away. Overall very happy now that it is setup.

Love this thing. Works with Amazon key for secure garage deliveries. It also allows for guest keys so that my family could easily cat sit for us while we were on vacation without needing a key to the house. Tons of uses!

This works great with my Overhead Door Python 2 garage door opener. The setup was easy and adding a second sensor was just as easy. The only complaint that I have is that it can't be added to Google Home. What good is a smart home if they don't all work together?

Very easy to set up, and a really nice product for the money. 4 stars instead of 5 only because it doesn't work with alexa. Seems like that should be something this should be able to do.

It is an awesome product. So I don’t have to worry about my garage door. Now I can close and open anytime and from anywhere. Worth every penny. Recommend to everyone

I love it. It’s easily installed. The directions on the setup is a bit confusing but just don’t follow them. Works great. Never need to get up to go see if the garage was left up anymore. I haven’t been able to figure out the share part yet.

This garage door opener and app work very well and the app includes videos for installation instructions. I’m very happy with the way it functions.

If only there was a way to get this device to work with Google Assistant or Alexa via my voice, it would be five stars. But as it stands, I have to pull out my phone, which typically has worked its way to the bottom of my purse, open the app, hit open twice, see if the door opens, which it does about 90% of the time. It probably takes less time to just get out and punch in my code. It is good for confirming the door is closed when I am away and for getting notified when it is opened (like when the painters left it open for 27 minutes). The older model I purchased years ago seemed more reliable. It was easy to install both times (Craftsman and Genie openers).

The Chamberlain MyQ is a useful upgrade for garage door openers that aren't yet linked to one's home network. It allows us (multiple family users or neighbors watching our dogs) to remotely open, close or verify our garage door status. Installation went very smoothly...first step is to download the MyQ app and it walks you through everything. My only short delay was when pairing my overhead motor unit to the MyQ Smart Control...I have what looks like a faded red or orange "Learn" button and choosing those colors during the pairing process didn't enable pairing to complete. I looked up my 2006 model unit online and saw a video showing a purple "Learn" button and when I chose that as the color, pairing was instantaneous. Very easy set-up and useful functionality at a good price.

Fantastic product! Easy solution to making a current garage door a smart device. Had a few issues with the wifi cutting off, however after moving the unit away from the door everything was fixed.

This is actually the second MyQ Smart Garage Control that I've purchased. It popped up on sale for a price cheaper than getting the door sensor on its own. My parents have 2 garage doors with older openers that don't have MyQ functionality. By adding these control units to each of them, they can open/close the garage door from their MyQ app or, more importantly, set a schedule like 'Close the door at 10pm each night'. You just need to make sure you have strong internet signal to your garage. Technically, you can have 1 base unit (the one with the LED light array in the middle) and up to two door sensors (smaller device), but again, the sale for the package was cheap enough I didn't even bother trying to track down just the door sensor. I had a little trouble setting up the first MyQ Smart Garage Control where I just needed to start the process over again because I missed 1 step. But the second MyQ Smart Garage Control setup process went just fine.

So, first of all this thing works, is easy to set-up, and has not had a single failure. (This is good because i drive my car like the Batmobile at the garage.) So, as a device, i really am impressed. Not so impressed with the $50/year subscription ($300 lifetime) or the fact that i cannot connect it to HomeKit. Would i recommend this device? Yes. But i did not realize these things until after i installed it, so i thiught i would let you know.

Excellent piece of gear and excellent value. I was looking to replace my remote keypad outside and the MyQ door opener was the same price with way more functionality. Easy to set up, works flawlessly. I wish it had a few more users though. 6 is not enough for us.
