This has saved me so much headache. It was easy to set up and I love that I can I open my garage whenever I need to with my phone. I don’t need to keep changing remote control batteries. That’s a thing of the past. I like that it sends me push notifications when someone is in my garage. The list goes on and on. Oh and because I’m a nerd. I paired this with an NFC tag to launch the app faster when I need it.

When it works, you can't beat the convenience for the price point. It's easy to install and to get up and running. Unfortunately, my device stopped working about a year after purchase. After receiving a firmware update, it began randomly disconnecting from my network, forcing me to powercycle the device to reconnect to the network. This was very inconvenient when traveling and expecting deliveries. There are much better, more stable solutions out there. I replaced with Meross over a year ago and it's 10x more reliable and responsive.

As a family, we needed an option for all of us to have reliable access to the garage if keys or openers were lost. I saw this option online and ordered it from Best Buy. I thought install was going to be difficult but it was so much easier than I thought. I was able to install and get it working in short order with no hiccups. The app is straight forward and reliable. I can control access and see who opens the garage and when. Also came in handy when my hvac company had a cancellation and wanted to work on my ac when no one was home. I was able to open the garage door from my office 35 miles away. Definitely recommend it if you need this type of access.

Geek Squad installed two Chamberlain - myQ Garage Door Control devices in newly purchased home. The install process took longer than expected due to apparent connectivity issues. The Geek Squad technician successfully completed the install, including the proper location and mounting of the hardware devices. Both garage doors operate properly via remote activation through the myQ app and Open/Closed status is continuously available.

THE KEY PAD TO ENTER CODE TO GAIN ACCESS TO MY GARAGE DIED. I WAS READY TO REPLACE IT AND THE I SAW THE MYQ SMART GARAGE CONTROL. LIKE ALMOST EVERYONE I HAD A BASIC GARAGE DOOR OPENER "NOTHING SMART ABOUT IT". ALSO LIKE ALMOST EVERYONE I HAVE A CELL PHONE THAT IS ALWAYS WITH ME. AFTER INSTALLING THE MYQ NOW I CAN ACCESS MY GARAGE DOOR STATUS (OPEN/CLOSED) FROM ANYWHERE. YOU CAN OPEN OR CLOSE IF NEEDED EVEN IF YOUR NOT THERE. WE HAVE ALL DONE IT, LEFT THE HOUSE ... DOWNTHE ROAD AND THEN IT HITS YOU DID I CLOSE THE GARAGE DOOR? NO NEED TO GO BACK YOU CAN CHECK THE STATUS FROM YOUR PHONE AND CLOSE IT IF NEEDED. YOU CAN SET UP A TIME TO CLOSE THE DOOR AT A PRE SET TIME ONE TIME OR DAILY, NO MORE OPEN GARAGE DOOR ALL NIGHT LONG! IT LETS YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS OPENED OR CLOSED BY SOMEONE ELSE AND IT KEEPS A LOG OF ALL DOOR ACTIVITY. THE BEST PART IS THAT IT WAS CHEAPER THAN IF I BOUGHT THE ORIGINAL KEY PAD THAT LITERALLY HAD ONE MANUALLY FUNCTION ENTER CODE TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE DOOR. THE INSTALL AND SETUP WAS AS SIMPLE AS SIMPLE GETS. IT HAS OTHER FUNCTIONS AND ALSO WORKS WITH AMAZOM DELIVERIES IF YOU HAVE "PRIME" THEY GET A CODE UPON ARRIVAL AND CAN PLACE YOUR ORDER IN THE GARAGE AND THEN CLOSE THE DOOR SO YOUR ORDER IS SAFE FROM "PORCH PIRATES" AND IT IS ALL LOGGED ON YOUR APP! I LOVE THE MYQ CONTROL AND IT IS WORTH EVERY CENT!

Super easy to install and set up! Works great! I love I can’t set up notifications if the door is left open for a certain amount of time.

This device changed my life. I now feel comfortable that I can close my garage from anywhere. I used to leave the house not knowing if I closed the garage door behind me. Now that has changed. There are other great features i.e. Amazon Key, user option and more. MyQ is affordable and convenient.

Very simple and low cost device and it works as designed with our over 12 year old Chamberlain opener. As for installation, it was a snap! It took longer to get my drill out and mount the main MyQ device on the wall than it did to program the thing! Very easy as long as you have a good wifi signal, and we do. That being said, I was surprised you cannot set an auto close time delay with the unit. By this I mean, if you accidentally leave the door open, it would be nice to have it close by itself after 10 or 15 minutes or so. MyQ does allow you to set a time for the door to close, and there doesn’t seem to be any restrictions on this feature; but let’s say you have it set to automatically close the door at 11pm, and you leave the house at 7:30am and forget to close the door? That’s a very long time to have your garage wide open! Keeping in mind, this device only costs $30, so maybe I am expecting too much? Anyway, it’s working fine, doing what it’s supposed to do so I am happy so far. If only it would allow an auto close after a preset time, it would be absolutely perfect!

I love my Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Control. It's one of the best investments I've ever made for my home. I used to worry about whether I had closed my garage door when I left for work or ran errands. Now, I can check the status of my garage door from anywhere in the world using the myQ app on my phone. I can also open and close my garage door remotely, which is great for when I'm expecting deliveries or need to let someone into my home while I'm not there. The myQ Smart Garage Control also gives me peace of mind knowing that my garage is secure. If my garage door is opened or closed when it shouldn't be, I'll receive an alert on my phone. This is a great feature for deterring burglars and keeping my family safe. Overall, I'm really happy with the Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Control. It's a great way to add security, convenience, and peace of mind to your home. I highly recommend it!

Easy to setup with clear instructions. I can now control my garage door through the MyQ app on my phone and am notified every time the door is open or shut.

Easy setup. My harage door opener is suppposed to habe MyQ, but it wont connect. This solved that issue! Super easy to setup. Can also connect to amazon prime to have them deliver packages into your garage. Can also share the link with family, so they can get in/out of the garage.

I purchased this to be able to remotely control my garage door for deliveries and family/friends while they are visiting. It has been a huge lifesaver. It had accurate instructions and was a pretty easy setup. Please ensure you have a power outlet close to where it's installed. I was able to use the same outlet my garage door motor is plugged in to. The hardest part at first was keeping it connected to my extended Wi-Fi. It seemed to go out every other week. Once I got my wifi extender positioned in a better location, I haven't had any troubles with it disconnecting. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Doesn’t take much to install. (Video is the best) once installed makes it easy to let others in.. But my favorite is looking to see if you forgot to close your garage door. You can simply look at the app and it will tell you if it’s open or closed. And if open you can close it! No need to run back home to check, call the neighbors or worry.

Installation done in minutes. Started to work perfectly at the end of the installation. Very happy with the product and also with Best Buy because it was super-fast to complete my purchase.

I like this very convenient to open garage door i lost the remote from my door but this is way better alerts you when the door is open or closed

So far so great. I love it but I have a few wishlist items. First the great. It took to my 15 year old Genie Pro Lift Screw Drive garage opener in about 30 seconds and works flawlessly from the MYQ app. The app is instant. If I hit "open" it opens faster than the app refreshes to show it's opening. If I hit close, same. WIthin a split second it's warning me the door is going to close. The wishlist. I wish we could activate the LED light on the hub. Right now the only purpose it serves is as a warning light that the door is closing. This does me no good because I have it in an enclosed space off the garage. I'd like to activate it as a light. I'd also really like it incorporated into Google Home. It works with assistant just fine but having it all be at a glance in home would be ideal. (protip: make a routine in assistant to close the garage door. It's easy to program the words "close the garage" to talk to MyQ without asking it to talk to MyQ.) Finally, a start/stop to vent the garage door. Sometimes I like to work in the garage but with the door opened just a foot or two to keep out light/prying eyes but still vent the garage. This does not have that ability but my wall mounted button still works so it's not a big deal. Otherwise, this thing is a bargain for what it does. I really like being in bed, wondering if the door is closed a before I drift off and not have to get up and check. It's a comfort and safety device. You can't be disappointed with this.
