The Chamberlain MyQ is a useful upgrade for garage door openers that aren't yet linked to one's home network. It allows us (multiple family users or neighbors watching our dogs) to remotely open, close or verify our garage door status. Installation went very smoothly...first step is to download the MyQ app and it walks you through everything. My only short delay was when pairing my overhead motor unit to the MyQ Smart Control...I have what looks like a faded red or orange "Learn" button and choosing those colors during the pairing process didn't enable pairing to complete. I looked up my 2006 model unit online and saw a video showing a purple "Learn" button and when I chose that as the color, pairing was instantaneous. Very easy set-up and useful functionality at a good price.

Easy to setup and works great! No more worrying we left the garage open all day or overnight, the app even lets you set an automatic schedule to close if it’s left open.

Good quality smart garage door controller. Easy to set up. Simple instructions and works really well. The app is simple and well lay out. Only downside is no alexa or homekit connectivity.

Overall a great product. This spring we had left our grage open over night more then once. The schedule adds piece of mind, if we forget it will close on its own or I can confirm in the app.l

This is actually the second MyQ Smart Garage Control that I've purchased. It popped up on sale for a price cheaper than getting the door sensor on its own. My parents have 2 garage doors with older openers that don't have MyQ functionality. By adding these control units to each of them, they can open/close the garage door from their MyQ app or, more importantly, set a schedule like 'Close the door at 10pm each night'. You just need to make sure you have strong internet signal to your garage. Technically, you can have 1 base unit (the one with the LED light array in the middle) and up to two door sensors (smaller device), but again, the sale for the package was cheap enough I didn't even bother trying to track down just the door sensor. I had a little trouble setting up the first MyQ Smart Garage Control where I just needed to start the process over again because I missed 1 step. But the second MyQ Smart Garage Control setup process went just fine.

Easy setup compared to the other brands that require a wire running all the way across the garage. All you have to do with this one is stick the wireless sensor on the garage door, put the opener on the wall, and connect to the app, which was very quick and easy. Its worked perfect for 2 years. Only one hiccup was when their servers went down for the day and I couldnt open or close the garage from my app. This has only happened once though in 2 years, so I wouldnt be too worried about that.

Excellent piece of gear and excellent value. I was looking to replace my remote keypad outside and the MyQ door opener was the same price with way more functionality. Easy to set up, works flawlessly. I wish it had a few more users though. 6 is not enough for us.

I love it. It’s easily installed. The directions on the setup is a bit confusing but just don’t follow them. Works great. Never need to get up to go see if the garage was left up anymore. I haven’t been able to figure out the share part yet.

Bought this to connect my Tesla for auto garage control. When it works it's amazing but it's been spotty at best and completely bricked when I had a power outage. Setup is simple which I appreciate and the app guides you well.

Quick and easy to set up. I can quickly open app to see if my garage door is open or closed, plus I can open or close it from anywhere. I also have the app set to send me notifications each time it opens and closes so I know when family leaves or arrives.

This product was simple to install. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took about 15 minutes to set up and make fully functional. The price was very reasonable and well worth it. Now I can operate and monitor my garage door from anywhere.

Easy set up. Easy to use from the app. Also gives you alert if your garage is being opened at anytime. You can also check to make sure it is closed for piece of mind. I needed new pin pad for garage door opener and this was a cheaper and more convenient option.

Got this because I got a bunch of Ring stuff and this was compatible with Ring so I can use same app. Had Best Buy install for free as I have Total Tech Support or whatever it's call and they came and installed it and it worked great for a few days. Them I did something and erased it from the app somehow and they're coming back out. Might be nice to have a feature that doesn't let you delete settings so easily. Like make me say yes reset like 3 times before really resetting it, etc.
