The only downfall is my stipid garage opener. A Genie, doesn't take any garage openers except genie product. However. I can still use the camera. So it can trick ppl into thinking we have one and record them. For security. One day Ill get a new garage door opener.

Nice lookibg keypad

From a functionality standpiint it has some nice features, like the camera which is a nice touch. The only reason I wouldn’t give this a 5 is that My Q has integration with RING and it gives me a punch through to the garage door in my Ring app but in dont get the camera view which gives me another app to have to use to see that camera.

The only issue I have is you have to take it down to remove the battery. I had it for several weeks now and have yet to charge it. It is great to see who opens the garage and you can give everyone their own code.

Who ever is at the door can also call you from the phone icon. Makes your life so easy with Amazon delivery. Worry free deliveries and you don’t have to be home, package left inside your garage safe and sound.

However, if you have the battery save option ON, it significantly improves battery consumption. It used only 2% for a week for me.

Waiting to see if how it does in Chicago winter. Camera is why i bought it to watch blind side of garage and video appears to be good.

The battery will need to be charged approximately once a month. This is a lot of hassle, instead device should had an exposed charging port so as to charge battery without dismantling the complete unit. Secondly charging port is USC micro and not USB-C, which is commonly used.
