Battery life is short

During the time it did work my biggest complaint was the short battery life. I am hoping the new unit will last longer.

I haven't had the same battery draining issues that some others have had bases on other reviews (I have my motion detection set on "low"). It was a little finicky getting it to connect to my brand of garage (Guardian) but it does work. Have had to reset it a few times to reconnect, but it looks like it's going to keep. If not for that, would have rated higher.

I already had the app from my garage door opener so adding this device was a piece of cake. My family thought it was a waste of money but after a couple of days they realized the convenience and I've made "guest codes" so I always know who's entering.
