It was easy to install, The camera is clear and never fails to notify me when a person/car is caught on camera. Although I havent used the garage opener feauture yet, I am already satisfied with it. The subscription also is not expensive. Not to forget the call feature is very clear too.

Now the bad the app provides instructions how to connect to your garage door opener. It gives you three choices of of doors. Mind you though my door is probably 20 years old and after multiple attempts it finally connected. Only problem is it will only raise the door. You have to use some kind other means to close the door.

Great upgrade from old pin pad

Though you are stuck behind a paywall to unlock all features. I do wish there was an option to hard wire the power as i can see the batteries being a down fall. Hopefully, they come out with an option for that. The app allows you to easily add pins to the pad which is a plus.

The myQ Video keypad works independently of a subscription. Once you install your video keypad you will be able to operate your pre-programed garage door and view real time live video motion events.
The myQ Video storage plans allow you to personalize alerts, record and view motion events and access them at your convenience thru the myQ application. We offer a variety of plans that allow you to store video events for 7 days or 30 days to view and download and share if needed. Regarding the battery, we are looking at making improvements to the user experience for additional customization to extend the battery life. We will extend the recommendation to the product team about a hardwiring product.

The only thing I don’t like about this is that they want you to subscribe to see any activity or videos stored. I guess that’s expected nowadays.

Create a pin for that person and limit the days and times they enter. Also, the camera is an additional feature that is a plus. Has a call button for the person to call someone and you can let them in without providing a pin or creating one.

The only thing that would make it better is if you could open the garage door remotely with it. In order to do that. I had to buy the smart garage control. Granted, if my opener had wi-fi, it would not have been an issue, I’d buy this again and recommend it to anyone!
