The MyQ Smart Garage Camera is very easy to setup. After downloading the mobile app onto your smartphone, it walks you through each step with detailed instructions, images, and a few video tutorials. It included a QR Code in the packaging and a website that will allow you to download the manual. I had no luck downloading the manual because the included website was not working when I tried accessing it. When it was time to mount the camera, I was able to magnetically attach it to the bottom of my garage door opener. The camera’s base included strong magnets that will allow it to attach to the bottom of many garage door openers. You can also use the included screws and anchors to wall mount it. The camera will detect motion and view/record live feeds. The built in microphone and speaker allows for 2 way communication. The camera connects most of the time, but there were times when it took a while for the camera to connect when I wanted to view a live feed. It requires a subscription in order to view video history. They have a 30 day video history for $100/year or $10/month, and another plan with a 7 day video history for $30/year or $3/month. The price is a bit expensive in my opinion for one camera. Overall, it’s a good camera to integrate to your MyQ garage system.

Easy Installation and nice features. The installation took me all of five minutes, including mounting the camera to the metal bottom of my garage door opener. Clicking the "Play" icon gives me a live view is just a few seconds. Great price too.

This camera was fast and easy to install. Just needs a power outlet and WiFi. It paired with the app on the first try. Think I was up and running in under 15 minutes. I already have and use MyQ to Control the garage door. And now I have more piece of mind with video every time it detects movement. One feature that I like is that MyQ works with Amazon key. So now when I get a Amazon delivery in my garage I can watch as they drop it off. Some things to think about when mounting the camera. At first I had it right by the garage opener on the ceiling. But my door to the house is pass this point so The delivery people would walk out of view at first. So I moved it to the back wall and now I don’t miss anything. Also the camera is very sensitive to light so I’ll get a notification when the light comes on or off even if there’s no movement. The video quality is fairly good. You could easy identify somebody. So far I am very happy with this camera.

Easy install (really just plug it in to an outlet) and it synced up with my app right away. I’m still figuring out all the notifications I want but this is an easy, fit for purpose product. Would recommend.

This camera works pretty good for me just need to find a way to keep it for noticing every motion including when the wind blows or the sunshine comes through the window
