I didn't realize that other brands and models don't meet my expectations. When I went to work, there was a different brand product there and I filled it with water and turned it on. Guess what, no auto shut off, so most of the water evaporated. This Chefman model auto shuts off - yay! Boil then done, that's the way it should be!

However, I love it's style and ability to heat water up in a speedy manner. I've had a few other brands that already died fairly quickly, so I'm praying this one outlived the others. I'll try to update in 6 months to see if it's still working properly.
