I bought it because of the different temperature choices. It broke 9 months in; just stopped coming on. I contacted Chefman and the couldn't replace it with the same product. The newer version is okay so far.

Inop out of the box

The auto-shutoff doesn't work. It just keeps heating water after boiling. Also, the lid doesn't open when pushing the button. You have to use something to pry it open. I am very disappointed. Especially since I didn't get my coffee this morning. I am returning it today. I also do not recommend this product.

Nice kettle

The only issue is dropping the basket in after the art is heated. Because the kid doesn’t really swing open all the way, it is easy to burn yourself or drop the basket in crooked.

More of a hassle then its worth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's really not a great tea kettle the idea of being able to brew tea in the kettle is nice but you are supposed to boil the water then dip the tea holder into the kettle you are not supposed to brew the tea with it on otherwise it will damage the device. ultimately you are just better off getting a electric kettle to boil water and pour in a cup and brew the tea separately this really provides more headaches then convenience

Sad rusted day one

I followed the cleaning guidelines before use and am very disappointed! My mom has the same and had used it for a while no issue. This may be a fluke.
