Great for FAST boiling water

Full featured unit at a REASONABLE price point. The handle contains the on-off and tempurature selection switch. When selecting tempurature the led color ring changes color at the bottom of the glass container. Unit cuts off as soon as selected water tempurature is reached. Since the eletronics are in the base of the container you can only hand wash this caraffe if you use it to make tea with the included diffuser. The diffuser can be easily removed. However, if just using it to make quick boiling water for coffee or cooking it will basically keep itself clean IMHO.... Bottom line-- works great, great price point, and it took only about 5 minutes to heat 1.5 ltr. of water (max.fill) from room temp to boiling....Excellent !!
