stopped working in less than a year

I keep it in a corner of my stone counter top where is away from any water splashes or external heating. I was seriously in love with this product until a day ago when it stopped working. I can only think that because it is not even a year old, this must have been a factory process issue or manufacturability lack of quality control. Dessapointed to say the least.

Disappointed

I've only had it for a little over a moth and I'm already having some problems with it and now I have to return it. First, the bottom of the kettle is starting to rust even though it's stainless steel. I always make sure to not leave any liquid in it and to let it completely dry out. Second, the beeping noise it makes sounds like the kettle is dying out. Thirdly, it takes FOREVER for the water to heat up now. Lastly, the lights on the kettle are dimming and it just seems like it's just about to stop working at anytime. Will be returning and buying a different brand.
