After hearing all the hype, I wanted to try out an air fryer, but I didn’t want to break the bank on something that I might not like or use frequently. I was in Best Buy and the Chefman Air Fryer was on sale and I had a couple of rewards certificates, so I thought - for $40, why not? I’m glad I tried it!!! Now, remember, this is NOT deep fryer. It is basically a compact, tabletop convection oven. But, we actually bake our tater tots and frozen fries, (which is what I mainly purchased it for - so I could free up oven space). I was pleasantly surprised that the potatoes crisped more evenly, and more quickly in the air fryer than in my conventional oven! I started to make a parmasean coated homemade french fries in it, and they are a HUGE hit with the family. Lightly breaded chicken breasts also turned out well. You do have to be prepared to experiment with different foods, temperatures and recipes to get the hang of it, but for our household, it is a great little appliance!

Great Air Fryer with a great price as well! Easy to set up and use. Have made fries, chicken, bacon and other stuff and everything has tasted really good so far!

This takes a bit of practice, as does any appliance. It works really well with frozen fry products, onion rings, fish filets (cook in foil with butter & seasonings). I tried it with homemade fries. They have to be cut thin to cook well in this air fryer. I tried frozen fried chicken. Results not so good. Smaller pieces cooked better. I would use the regular oven next time. Not knocking this product, I think air fryers are better suited to certain foods over others. I do recommend this air fryer. It's easy to clean, cool to the touch, easy to use, and the cooking bin is good size. I cook for my family of 3 and it works well for us.

Great little air fryer. Easy to use. Does fries, onion rings and pork chops really well. Chicken probably should be breaded before cooking.

I love this product. Fries chicken and french fries and other things in a jiffy. Just the right size at 3.5. Very compact and easy to clean up as well!

I really love this air fryer. It works great for couples. I have fried chicken wings n French fries in it. I’ve also cooked breaded shrimp n many frozen products n they all turn out good. Normally I will turn the products over half way through but it’s not really necessary. It can oks great. I always spray a little olive oil on the items before I cook them so they won’t be so dry.

I haven't had this long but so far I really like it. The hopper is big enough to make more than a meal's worth of food at a time and it has come out crispy and nice. Clean up is fast and easy too. So far so good.

We bought this air fryer without knowing much about them at the time. Since buying the fryer around the end of 208, we have used the fryer at a minimum of once a week since then to cook everything from fries, wings, various meats, veggies etc and as long as you use a little spray oil like Pam to allow then to crisp and not stick to one another, it works great. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the tray inside the drawer has some small silicone caps that fall off/get lost easily when cleaning and just inconvenient to try get more.

I absolutely LOVE this air fryer!! I've cooked shrimp & homemade fries so far. I only cook for one person, so the size is perfect. There is a tray inside that comes out, to make it easier to clean, & it drains away any excess fat from your food. The basket itself has vents, & is also super easy to clean. It's so easy to use, you can look up all kinds of recipes online. One of the best purchases I've made in a while!

I made some home fries with a little salt, they were very good, and I didn't feel guilty about eating them. It was the 1st easy thing to do, and did not need to use any oil. Next, I made some chicken wings and they were DELICIOUS!!! I'm very happy I bought this air fryer, and it fits very well; I made about 14 Tyson wings and there was still some room left. I like them very crispy, so it took a bit of time, so don't expect your food in 15 minutes. But I'm still very happy with it.

It takes a little practice it goes from not ready to over done very quick but once you know the right time settings it is great. My family uses it a lot, home made fries are great in it and I have to say I think this is how I'll cook bacon from now on. It does a great job with sides it has a harder time with fried chicken and I don't find it worth it for big stuff anyways since u can't over crowd the pan and it takes a little longer I think. Sides are done quick and so is frozen food like nuggets or tender. It's great for multitasking, being able to make the side while cooking the main course.

I have experimented w/ various foods, all turned out better than expected. Air fryer is extremely easy to use. Only wish unit had digital display for temp & time. Overall for price great air fryer.

Bought this for friend and it was the perfect size cooks well easy to work with food taste great no problems so far

I love, love, love this airfryer. This is my first one. Its fast and easy to use. Just read the booklet that comes with the fryer. I always sprinkle a little olive oil on my chicken before frying. You cannot cover your chicken with flour(I've tried and even though It tasted great, all the flour didnt cook with the chicken). I cook mostly boneless chicken breast but just remember to lightly season your food because unlike pan frying ALL the seasoning stays on.

Bought this at a Cyber Monday sale for $24.99 with a $5 Bestbuy reward certificate. This may be the best purchase I have made from Bestbuy....Ever! What’s not to love? The machine is simple to use, easy to clean and the cooking area is large. Thanks to this machine, I have been able to re-crisp fries from the kids’ Meals when they get cold. It makes crispy burritos, and it makes them fast. Much faster then a conventional oven and I’m sure it uses less electricity to. I have purchased more of these and have given them away as gifts for the holidays.

This was easy to use and great dollar amount. I bought for my sons and they loved it. Just the right for lunch and dinner

We had a 1.2 liter air fryer that was too small. I picked this up on Black Friday and it is huge! We use it a few times a week, not hard to clean and works great with all types of food, even saucier type recipe. There are slots on the side which my old one did not have, so just keep in mind when you go to shake your food.

Great fryer. Easy to use and cooks things that are delicious. Less grease same taste.

Had an air fryer for awhile(Dash brand) and used it pretty much every day... hence the reason why we wore it out. Plus, it was a smaller 1.5L sized one, and needed a bigger one anyway. Bought this Chefman brand one that's more than double the size, and with the deal of the day price, it was actually cheaper than the smaller one too! Works as well as we expected it to, and pretty much exactly like the competitor brand we owned previously... so, we're happy! Thanks Best Buy! :)

I recently picked the chefman up as a black Friday special. So far it has worked great, pizza rolls, hamburgers, French fries, chicken breast even pierogies all turned out awesome. The last hamburgers I made were so juicy that on first bite, surprisingly the juice squirted out and ran down my chin. Clean up is easy. So far this air fryer has exceeded my expectations.
