    I gave this as a gift the people who received it gave it an O.K. they didn't seem too happy with it I am not sure what they were hoping for but it dose not and will not replace actual frying my guess is that we will see these machines around for MAYBE another Christmas selling season and like the bread makers of the 90's they will disappear

    Fries must be cooked in a single layer or the middle tends to remain raw. We didn’t load it very full, but struggled to figure out how much cooking would make sure the center wasn’t full of floppy potato strings. In the end the food tasted fine, but it was a lot of effort for something I could have done much faster in the oven or a deep fryer.
