This is a great torch for sous vide cooking. I use it to char my steaks after cooking and it works great. I am only giving it 4 stars as it doe snot come with fuel but that is probable due to shipping. You can pickup a big bottle of fuel and almost any store except Best Buy.

It's pretty easy to use, but the regulator doesn't do much. You'd be forgiven if you don't realize if you can't tell if it's set to the lowest setting or the highest, there's very little difference. Also, I must note this does not come with butane, so plan to find somewhere that sells some.

This has been fantastic for my desserts. It’s easy to load with butane, it is high quality. It does come empty. It is user friendly. Remember Best Buy price matches, which they did for me!

I've always want to buy one like this. Compact, very user friendly. Its good enough for me coz I just use it on as needed basis and not for large volume (food use). So Happy to own one...

Absolutely fantastic except when filling at it tends to make a mess. Not necessarily the torches fault I think it may have been the can of butane that I purchased from Kmart

I have always wanted one of these for food prep. It exceeds my expectation! I love making a cup of hot Cocoa with marshmallows! Now I can roast the marshmallows which kicks it up a few notches!

Easy to light, easy to use and filling it isn't too bad. I would recommend to anyone that needs a torch for cooking or even just a torch to do quick jobs around the house that require high heat. Burning ends of rope, webbing or other similar material.

The torch is pretty much what I expected. I use it for crafting, not food. I love it for my needs. Sorry..I can't give a review for Culinary needs. I've had it for over a year, no problems with it at all.

Love it! I actually bought one for my daughter in law for a gift and liked it so well, I bought one for myself.

I had saw this item on cooking programs and felt I needed one to complete my arsenal of kitchen gadgets. I simply love it. I use it for in the kitchen and when setting up a barbecue outside.

This is a great product. Easy to use and I especially like the safety features. Great for cooking, and I also use if for woodworking (To give wood a weathered look).

If you're looking for a good quality cooking torch this fits the bill. It's not professional level - you are only supposed to run the flame for like a minute at a time before turning it off, so no long-exposure bruleeing - but it gets the job done for a home cook. Biggest complaint is that it came empty. I'm sure it's for safety and shipping regulations of flammable goods but I wish I had known that when I purchased it. We were all excited to try it out when it arrived only to discover we had to make another trip to the store for butane. Not a world-ending issue but still annoying and the reason it is only getting four stars.

Product works great, once you buy the gas for it separately. I didn't read it close enough and was surprised! This can be found so much cheaper elsewhere, so yes, great product but don't buy from Best Buy.

Took a while to use it but it worked great to caramelize sugar on top of crème brulee. had to purchase fuel extra.

I happen to be looking for this item and you guys had it, i’m A part time chef and a cigar aficionado it’s perfect for me.

I actually purchased this torch for crafting purposes, resin in particular. I had owned a cheaper brand that continually leaked the kerosene and I was constantly filling it up before each use. This little baby lasts forever on one refill. It fits comfortably into my hand, is easy to switch on and off and into the constant on position. I am so glad that I bought this and am even considering buying another for the kitchen!

Purchased this on sale for half off ,its the best torch I have ran into , I tried many brands including vector and other top manufacturers and this one tops them all , great for home use
