    I bought 6 of the Chefman electric egg cooker. Three for my sisters , two for my daughters and one for my wife. They were on sale for $10 each. My sister loves it and her daughters ages 8-16 uses it often. My wife enjoys using it and said this is something she can use often. She is an excellent cook so coming from her that is a great endorsement. You can do soft boiled, medium or hard boiled eggs quite easily..

    I've been looking to make soft boiled eggs, I like them similar to how they serve them in ramen places. This does that for me, no problem. Soft boiled, not runny. No more let the water boil, put the eggs in, wait some minutes, then pray. With this, measure your water to the soft boiled line, pour the water to the base, the rest follows. Just the way I like it every time.

    This thing Is AMAZING, no guess work.. I never knew how to boil or poach the perfect egg, now I do?!! Just buy 1 of these fill using the little cup of water that corresponds to how hard you want your egg, cover and push button. 3 or 4 minutes later, drop them in ice water to stop the heat from continuing to cook them and ENJOY. MIRACLE

    It's much smaller than it appears in the pictures, but that's a good thing if you don't have a lot of cupboard space. Easy to use and cooks eggs to your desired level of consistency without watching or timing. The omelette/poaching tray works fine, but that's really not the main use of this product. It is a very useful gadget that won't be forgotten and subsequently pushed to the back of the cupboard. Perhaps not worth the full retail price but definitely worth it if it's on sale.
