Keep your money

Tea boils at a different temperature than water, and once you use it for anything other than water, it seems to affect the heating element. The sound it’s supposed to make stops working, and sometimes it even overboils instead of shutting off at 100°C. Plus, it’s definitely not dishwasher-safe. I’ve bought this twice and had to return it both times.

Great kettle but…

I like the various settings for different types of teas. The only issue is that the top button to open the top to pour more water in has become very dysfunctional. I have to press the button often more than 7 times to get it to open. This is very annoying and frustrating. I had to take the tea difusser appararus out in order to get the top to open better and more frequently. I do jotcthink I will but tgis brand again because of that feature. To keep pressing the button over and over kills the functionality and convenience.

Is the Chefman Kettle Worth It? - Yes

I love the sleek stainless steel design and the fast heat up speed. ONly takes two minutes to boil two cups and allows you to control the temperature which is great for my coffee. I also love the keep warm feature which allows everyone in my house to enjoy whatever beverage they desire. It isn't the easiest thing in the world to clean however it is cordless and I would highly recomend for those who value cost & speed.
