I got this as a gift for my father and he has consistent issues with the sous vide, something to do with the water detection system on the device never being able to accurately measure the water level and preventing it from being used. Chefman customer service was terrible as well. Stick with Anova brand.

I returned this as it only heated the water 2 degrees in 30 minutes. Liked the size and easy to read control but it just did not work

I had the item shipped. When I received item it was used and didn’t even want to test it.

Call me a brand groupie if you must but I LOVE THIS SOUS VIDE THING!!!! Seen it a couple of times on TV and saw it on sale here and just had to buy...came today and let me just say I'm never going to a steakhouse again. I made a couple of different steaks to test it out and they all came out INCREDIBLE. I thought it might be one of those things you buy and never use but wow, I'm going to be using this for everything now - can't wait to try! It also comes with an app but that doesn't connect yet, I called the company and they said they will be releasing a wifi one in a few months which sounds pretty cool to me!

Easy to use. Cooked our steaks perfectly! Just as good as other products bit at a better price. I have only used it twice so far but I don’t have a single problem with it.

Worst product I never got to use. Spent hours trying to get Wi-Fi to work without success. Unit is REALLY noisy. Sounds like a motorboat with the water recycling. If you don't have a spare room you can put this device in, it would be really annoying.Most importantly, when I called their Customer Service desk, I received a message saying that all reps were on a two day training course! Then sent them a follow up email and have not heard from them days later. Do you really want to deal with a company like this? I am paying a few dollars more today and getting a better brand.

This unit ran for about a half hour. I heard it make a weird nose and then substantially louder. Within a minute it shut down. I retried several times and adjusted the water levels etc but it continuously shut itself down. I called their number during business hours and got the voice mail. Horrible product poor customer support ,avoid avoid avoid.

Used this product for all of 5 minutes before it errored out over and over and will not work. Biggest waste of money I've ever spent.
