Good price but some issues

I like the digital display, ability to pick the crispness of the waffle and compact design. I do not like the latching mechanism (which has been a problem - may be defective). You also need to have the 'perfect' viscosity batter for it to work properly. Too thick and it does not fill up the entire inside (and makes a mess outside); too thin and the waffle does not taste right. To fix this I now use a scale and put in what I found to be my ideal amount of milk, powder and egg(s) based on multiple trial and error batches. I still sometimes get a 3/4 or 7/8s waffle (instead of a whole one) but they taste fine.
