It is very lightweight, almost cheaply designed with cheap material. I feared for my life as I added the oil directly to the heating element but trusted the instruction and many reviews untilllll a freaking fire sparked inside of the bin. I hurriedly unplugged the gadget. No funnel cakes with this chefman.

Very poor design

Unwrapped product of box and noticed basket did not fit correctly inside oil chamber. Unit had literally no bottom and felt a countertop would be directly exposed to the heat. Very cheaply created.

Worst purchase ever, damages counter top

It transfers extreme heat to the counter top causing damage. We felt it to be a fire hazard. Wish I could give zero stars.
