Bought this for my grandson the day he left on vacation to Florida. It was a hit. Goes along with his helmet mount. He had it on before I finished saying hi!

Go Pro official accessories are a bit pricier but they are a higher quality. I originally tried a couple cheap mounts off amazon. I have a YouTube channel and I use this stuff a lot. This mount works great and hasn't broken.

I'm not crazy about the price and it could probably be a lot better for that price tag for sure... but I got to admit, I kind of like this thing as far as gopro stuff goes. You just throw it over and attach your camera and go on with whatever while the camera records at chest height. As far a gopro add ons go, this one is fairly practical. Whats really nice about it is that it really feels like the camera is nice and secure. It's literally strapped to you and nice and snug. That's not quite the same as with some other add ons and to be fair, for good reason. Obviously a stick in your hand is not as held in place as a strap to your chest. It's just a nice little device for hands free recording that the gopro seems to do well with in this kind of scenario. I've used this a few times more than other add ons; but of coarse, that is just me. All in all, the price is not the best at all... but it's surprisingly a nice add on for the go pro. I still feel it could be better than what it is for the price, but I'll give it a four stars as I like it a bit more than the tripod stick I got as well. two stars for value and quality as there is nothing special there and four stars for ease of use... which could be five but I just refuse to give five to gopro unless it really impresses me at this point. plus the thing came all tangled in the box. I did recommend this, but strictly on the merit of "if you have the cash, then okay" But I still think it is pricey for the average consumer for what it is. But also... I do kind of like it Just drop the price! It's a strap for crying out loud. If this thing were more in the five to ten dollar range, I would probably rave about it and give it five stars all around. The price really kills it on this one.

Bought this for my daughter to use for a 5k run. I was a little leery on how well it would work, but she said that it was incredibly supportive, didn't bounce or move, and the end result was a good quality video. Bought the head strap as well but ended up returning it (never opened) because my daughter liked this one so much.

Easy and comfortable! It’s allows me to have my hands free while recording. None of the equipment is in view of the video. Must get if you like hiking, running, or partake in extreme sports

My daughter purchased to watch her hand placement while riding. Fit perfect and was easy to use.

I bought the hero 11 black and the chesty for my son to wear at lineman school while doing his climbing drills. Perfect fit and worked great to keep camera in place securely.

I picked up the GoPro Chesty Mount to allow me to record sections of hiking when I want to keep my hands free. It is great for this purpose as it keeps focus on the direction I'm headed unlike the head mount which changes focus based on what you are looking at. The chest mount would also be great for fishing or kayaking or any other activity that you want to record where your hands need to be free.

We went to Costa Rica and one of the activities was white water rafting. This chest mount made it possible to record this trip.

Great overall, simple and easy to use right out the box, and with it being a GoPro product they are compatible with many other cameras or attachments too.

I wear this and shoot video all the time. You aren't going to get a perfect smooth walk feel. It is not like a gimbal, it is a real walking feel. It makes me so happy as I am hands free so I can drink a coffee while walking or check my phone or pick up a flower if needed. I have so much fun when I wear this.

This chest mount is high quality and easy to put on. I have another GoPro mount that I bought through Amazon, but this is definitely better. It is more durable and the components don't seem cheap like other chest mounts I have seen. You pay a little more for the GoPro mount, but it is worth it.

This fits very comfortably on my chest and holds the GoPro very securely. I was using clips on my backpack before using this and kept having issues. This gives me a lot more freedom to take my backpack on and off and I have to worry about other accessories.

I use this for trail running and it's proven to be a comfortable and easy to use mount for my Go Pro. You almost forget you have it on. Once you figure the angle needed for your camera to capture the right video, you're all set! Great quality and it'll last you a long time.

Initial impression is good, used it kayaking and it worked well. Not the easiest accessory to use with a PFD though, so keep that in mind for water sports. It's pretty easy to adjust the angle up or down as desired, and taking the camera out of the mount to swap batteries isn't bad. Might be nice to be able to swivel side to side when kayaking since you can only rotate your torso so far, but that's a lot to ask for the price. Overall a good accessory so far. I'm using this for kayak fishing with a GoPro 6, and seated it caught me rigging tackle and casting well, as well as catching and releasing fish. I could see this being useful for recording any kind of tutorial where you're working with your hands right in front of you as well.
