    I bought this as a gift for my wife. I don't know anything about them other than my wife said I did really well picking this out for her. She said she was impressed I "actually picked out a good one." So hey, wife is happy. 5 stars.

    It's an okay straightener, I thought it would be a little more high tech, it only has one setting, you are not able to increase or decrease heat which I would have preferred. I also wish it could be closed more, there's a bit of a gap. It did leave my hair smooth though.

    I have used so many flat irons in the past with no issues but I hate this one. The ends of my hair were fried so I cut it thinking it was from something else. But i have come to the conclusion it is this flat iron. I have used this one time since it was cut and now my ends are fried again. There is no way to control the temperature. Not sure I will buy CHI again.
