    I used this $90 part instead of a standard $20 1.5" plumbers pipe because I wanted adjustability. Pros: It is the best choice because it is thinner than plumbing pipe and already has a cutout for wiring. It worked perfectly. Cons: It is not as pretty as painted plumbers pipe because the adjustable settings do show. I turned that side toward the back to be less noticeable.

    The build quality is solid and take upto 300lbs I had no issues mounting my JVC NX5 on this. Extension is easy to adjust with cable routing from within.

    Put this in a CMS115 and it worked fine. You can go in 1 inch increments the length of the extension. Really it's in 2 inch increments, but the screw in the inner pipe has two locations an inch apart. The slots in the outer tube are two inches apart. Just think about the length to drop before you put in the screw. Fits cables inside easily and the come out the hole with no issues. Fit into the chief mount and projector mount with no problems, just screw in until it's in the direction you want.
