Valiant Hearts was a great game that take you through the real horror of war. It has story telling and visuals, especially if you like the art style. Child of light is also a great game. The gameplay and visuals are great in this game as well. I also love how the turn based rpg is used in this game. Id say this 2 in 1 bundle is a great pick up. Bonus points for both games being on the same cartridge, as most switch 2 in 1 games have one of the games as a downloadable code.

Child of Light and Valiant Hearts, although two entirely different games, are both fantastic on their own and worthy of being in your Nintendo Switch collection in this dual pack from Ubisoft! We are currently playing through Child of Light (my wife has logged in over 10 hours and feels like she has a lot more to do) and I have finished up Valiant Hearts. It's funny because we bought this originally just to play Child of Light and never heard of Valiant Hearts, but after playing through Valiant Hearts I am glad it was included in this set. Child of Light has great visuals, the gameplay is top-notch and the RPG system is very robust. There are a lot of supportive characters you can unlock that join your party and they all play differently, making choosing your team something you need to add strategy to. Valiant Hearts took me by surprise. It has a very powerful story with lots of fun puzzles to solve. There are also TONS of historical photographs and historical text to read, giving much more gravity to the game itself when you realize how much of it was based on true events during the war. The historical text also adds a lot of context to the story, helping you understand who is fighting who and the direction the war was going in along the way. I finished this one feeling way more educated about the war than when I started it. For two award-winning games in one set, this is one you should not pass up! NOTE: Both games are featured on one cartridge. When you place the cartridge into the Switch, both Child of Light and Valiant Hearts icons appear (as two separate icons) on your Switch home screen.

the art direction of both games is outstanding! child of light is a platformer/rpg with a great story, and an outstanding musical score. Valiant Hearts is a stealth platformer with a solid story. Both games on 1 cartridge is a score! Ubisoft continues to impress me.......

Child of Light has a very unique, yet so familiar style of gameplay. It pulls aspects from a few different titles, and most of which are more so platformers versus your traditional rpg. While the battle mechanics are very much a mix of classic style of turn-based badassery and has a lot of pretty flare to back it all up. The story is also pretty interesting, for the most part. By the end of the game I was very much satisfied with my experience and see myself revisiting this title in the future. Glad to have a physical copy of it, even if it is split with another title. And speaking of...I have yet to actually check out Valiant Hearts. While I have read some pretty decent things about it, I think that it definitely looks interesting enough for me to be able to let hours waste away within it’s world. If you’re a collector and like to have your digital games sitting proudly upon your shelf here in the physical realm, then pick this collection of a solid rpg and unique indie gem up!

This package includes two great indie style games from a major publisher (Ubisoft). They're a bit old at this point, but still absolutely worth a purchase in physical format. Child of Light is a beautifully illustrated RPG with a female protagonist in a typically male dominated fantasy setting. Valiant Hearts is more of a point/click type of adventure game with a great story about the folly of war. Excellent choices in the package as a whole!

Prior to this release, there was no physical release for Valiant Hearts and the only physical release for Child of Light was on the Vita and it didn't include the DLC on the cart. That alone makes this a great game to get for collectors. However, when you add in the fact that both of these games are stellar games well worth the money and the fact that combo is only $40 USD brand new without a sale, it's hard to argue against this. This is especially true for those that find the game in a good discount.

You get two great games on switch in on packaged. Child of light alone is a fantastic platformer, this version has all the DLC and more from the previous gen. Only way to get it physically was if you had it on the VITA. valiant hearts is a puzzle game that is a solid adventure game with a lot of emotional story telling about people during a war similar to our own ww1 the first truly modern war.

Bought the game to play Child Of Light and was worth it. The game is a unique rpg with interesting characters and story. Love the art and style of it as well. Heard good reviews of Valiant Hearts as well so definitely worth it to add to your collection.

Two fun, emotional, beautiful games in one package! Child of Light is a unique take on the RPG genre, and Valiant Hearts is a heartwarming (and heart-wrenching) tale set during World War I, a setting rarely visited in games. You will not be disappointed!

These games are both stunningly beautiful and very entertaining! The music is fantastic and the story compelling. In addition, Valiant Hearts was deeply educational and taught me a great deal about World War life!

These are two great games and if you haven't played them on another platform I urge you to pick them up on the switch. This is a greta value for some intense emotional game play. These are games for people who like story with their gameplay.

Both Valiant Hearts and Child of Light are visually stunning. The stories in both are emotional and captivating. Music in both games is fantastic. One RPG and one WWI adventure, both on one game card..... priceless.

Story, music, mechanics, graphics, they are all excellent , can't stress it enough. To have it for the switch is awesome. Got it for 25 but i would not mind paying full price for em.

Played child of light years ago, and i'm thrilled we finally got a physical cart of a beautiful simple story, with lite rpg elements and great gameplay. Have not played Valiant hearts yet, but heard great things.

Child of light will suck you in with its weird story and flying around feels amazing. Fun side scrolling RPG for someone like me who normally doesn't like RPG's

Can't recommend this purchase enough. A physical copy of both the definitive version of child of light, and valiant hearts. 2 Amazing short little charming games that are definitely worth checking out.

Two games for one, good value especially when on sale. A Uplay title which would require Uplay if bought on a PC, so worth avoiding that hassle by getting it on the Switch.

While I cannot speak on Valiant Hearts because I have not yet played it, Child of Light is a truly peaceful, beautiful game. The art style is wonderful. I am giving this four stars only because the cost of this bundle is definitely high, although it really is great to have this in physical form.

Two very good story driven games. Valiant Hearts is great if you like history and Child of Light is great if you like turn based games.

This is a collection of 2 games on one cart. Both games are fun and have great stories. This is a great value and should be a must have for lovers of adventure.
