Great addition to my eufy setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Chime Add-on paired to an E340 Video Doorbell and HomeBase 3 for when the doorbell rings. The Chime Add-on and HomeBase 3 are on separate levels so when someone pushes the doorbell button I can hear it on both floors of our house and on my phone. Once you plug it into the wall and let it start up you can set it up in the app and connect it to either the E340 doorbell or like me and add it to the HomeBase 3 as a second chime. To use it as an additional chime along with the HomeBase you have to manually go into the app and turn it on by going to the E340 Doorbell settings/Indoor Chime/Minibase Repeater Chime/Chime Alert switch to "on". It works great and is plenty loud. It has a fair amount of chime sounds to choose from also. It’s a perfect addition to the E340 Video Doorbell.

Also if I want to use this with homebase 3 there is apparently a dongle set needed to comunicate with devices set up for that. If you have an Alexa seeded home my recomendation may be to try the skill Eufy has on there first before spending 40 bucks here.
