Two advantages over the Apple product (1) it has a hole for a key ring or carabiner and (2) the sound it makes when I play a sound is louder. Two minor disadvantages: (1) no precision location feature in the Find My app, and (2) its larger and bulkier.

Work just like Airtags, but are less expensive

The Chipolo Spot works even better on Apple’s Find My network. I prefer this to the AirTag as you don’t need to buy extra accessories. Also very lightweight.
