Chromecast have always been my go to choice when it comes to a streaming product. I love Google and I love that they are inclusive. I love the ability to be able to cast from your phone. I love Google assistant. This is a great product.

Easy to use. Replaced my firestick with this. Have good channels and simple placement.

For a simplified streaming device this has everything you need. The only downfall is the low storage on the device. But if you don't have many streaming services that you subscribe to then this is the best bang for the buck.

I loved chromecast for years... But this one is the best. It's actually like having a Roku TV without going out and buy one. Being able to access movie apps without picking up your phone (once you set it up). It's only $50 bucks, give it a spin... You won't feel like you've wasted your money.

Buyer be ware. The item I received from the market partner seller was the 2020 model of this. Less storage and processing power. Global Mobile tried to pass the $50 version off for this $200 model. They wouldn't make it right by sending me the proper one when I called them out on it and just made me submit for a refund which they did provide after refusing to send me the proper item. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they just grabbed the wrong one off the shelf since they physically look the same but they by the end, I felt they tried a bait and switch to get rid of their old inventory. BestBuy said they couldn't help since it was a market partner, even though their site says they stand behind all their market partners... Long story short. Just make sure you're actually receiving what you ordered and paid for. As stated, they look the same so you may not realize you received an old inferior model.

I have saved a ton of money on my monthly bills thanks to buying one of these and being smart about how I use it. I loved my Firestick but I feel this lets me have more options and it better integrates into my household stuff since I've been primarily using Google anyway.

Take the functionality of an android set top box and release it at a price lower than even the Chinese can offer their versions. Great piece of hardware if you're already ingratiated in the Android ecosystem and even if not, it's easy to use and offers a number of fratures. This kills Roku.

Plus: Home screen that gives you previews of what is trending or new. Hooks up with Google Assistant and comes in handy to control the TV from anywhere. It saves preferences and profiles. You can even watch TikTok on it. You can also talk into the remote as you would your phone when using Google Assistant. The Youtube and Netflix buttons come in handy because for whatever reason after watching a show we usually default to opening one of those 2 apps. Cons: I like the simplicity of only the 2 streaming service buttons, but part of me wonders what if we had more (such as hulu, hbo, disney etc) plus The navigation buttons are very similar to an old ipod (button with circular directional surrounding). They look and feel nice, but at times the buttons mash and you try to move right but end up moving down or up. That is the only reason why i gave a 4 star, if the buttons didnt mash i would give it 5 stars all the way!

Excellent item! Very easy to set up and once done, you're enjoying your shows. I hooked it up to an older computer monitor (no speakers) so I did have to get an HDMI splitter to get audio to my eternal speakers, but since it is plugged in series, there was no problem hooking it up.

Google finally got streaming right! Love the comprehensive yet simple and friendly user interface. Knocked out down one star because it has issues with casting from the Oculus VR (very laggy at best and disconnects frequently); I have to cast to the basic 'non Google TV' Chromecast (not Chromecast Ultra btw), which is still has a little lag but much less, and doesn't disconnect.

I've been using Roku for years and thought it was the best thing ever. It has nothing on Chromecast. This is much faster, more responsive and has so much more to offer like Stadia for gaming. My only thing is the interface. I don't like the way it's organized.

So glad Google released a streaming product with a remote and UI. This gives quick access to multiple streaming services. The UI is quick and responsive and the device seamlessly integrates with other Google products like Google WiFi and smart speakers.

I been waiting for this device to use it and enjoy it. I love the facts that the Android developers and engineers really took their time to make this a best on a budget. The amount of ram that it comes with its perfect to prevent from freezing when running many things at the same time. It comes with a 8 gig of storage which is okay to have a good amount of apps but you can just setup a nas, smb or get a cloud account if you need space. I would suggest to buy a hd with cloud storage software if not familiar with setting up a cloud server at home on your own. If you don’t wanna go to all the headaches setting up ur media back up server, setup a shared folder on your pc computer there are tons of tutorials on YouTube which will make it easy for you to setup your cloud server. There are many other things I could suggest you if you that you can do with the google tv device but I would take for ever here typing. Anyways enjoy it and take care of it.

Chrome Cast watching is the greatest for all kinds of shows from art classes and musical performances, including live operas. So easy to setup too. Being able to project onto my big screen helped me get through the pandemic.

Upgrade from previous Chromecast that we still have in use and it is nice to have a remote. All your platforms are unified so that is a plus. You can use Google Assistant to look for specific shows. It also recommends other shows you might like. Only con is remote is a bit slippery.

Clean interface, fast and responsive. Only issue is I have to buy a power adapter to connect it directly to USB power on my TV. Charge me $10 more and put the power adapter in the device by default!

I purchased this so that I could cast my Meta VR headset to my LG smart TV. It worked flawlessly. I haven’t used any of the other features yet but plan on browsing them in the very near future.

Needed something to replace using my TV apps. This is so much better! Does not drop video quality when streaming. The remote synced with my tv and soundbar very easily. I highly recommend getting this. Much better than my Roku.

Amazing little device. I have four of them and they make my life so seamless. I'm fairly far into The Google ecosystem with YouTube TV and YouTube premium and some nest products and they all work great. Only four stars out of five because occasionally YouTube premium won't sign in for some reason and I get ads.
