If you cut the cord or simply want a reliable streaming device with a remote and don't want to pay much, this is the one. Bought one for me originally months ago, just picked up one for my dad who had the Roku stick and he hasn't looked back.

This is a very economical very functional streaming device. Much cheaper than Apple TV. Seems to work with everything but especially proficient with YouTube TV not surprisingly. Had it running in 2 minutes.

Best budget media streaming device. It has everything but Apple+. Even allows you to use live channels app (found on Google tv boxes) to pair with your Hdhomerun box. Remote is pretty good, I like it better than the AppleTV remote (garbage) I’m going to get more for other rooms!

The streaming device Google Chromecast with Google TV (4K) that I purchased was an excellent buy. The product was easy to activate. I have not experienced any problems with the product so far.

Very pleased that Chromecast now has a dedicated remote, but I still use my phone on occasion to cast. Also like the phone app that emulates the remote. The only drawback so far is the Chromecast remote appears only to control power to one external device.

The setup was straightforward. I had some trouble opening the remote control to insert the batteries but this was a minor problem. Logging into the different streaming services was also easy. It was difficult to find some apps, though, such as the MasterClass app.

This newest version is far superior to the old version that required you to use your phone to cast. We have a few of the earlier iterations of chromecast and I’m ready to upgrade all of them to this version. The remote is simple and easy to use; even children can figure it out.

Works well with both of my TVs Hisense and Sanyo. It was fairly simple to set up. Remote is compatible and will turn the TV on and off as well as adjust the volume. The remote has a button on it to activate voice control but you can't use voice control from other devices.

This has exceeded my expectations tenfold. It literally has all the streaming services including HBO Max that Fire sticks don't have and Kodi which you don't need a roundabout way to install. Then if u have an Android phone, casting is real simple. Best purchase I had in a long while

Very easy to set up. the voice search is pretty cool. As with all Google devices, it knows all of your accounts and searches them for whatever movie or show you are looking for. Connectivity is very solid. Plus you can control your tv's power and volume with it.

The Chromecast With Google TV Is Awesome! Supports Dolby Vision, And 4K! But You Need A TV That Support's Either, In My Opinion Choose Chromecast With Google TV And TCL 5 Series Roku TV 50S535 I Promise You'll Be Happy! As It's The Best Combo!

Excellent upgrade to my tv's built-in app operating system. My tv's OS got very buggy when i switched ISP. It could not connect to my internet. No matter how many factory resets i would do to try and solve the problem it just kept dropping connection. The Chromcast is a great work around if you're experiencing this issue. The Chromcast connect with lightning speed. No lag and in 4k. I liked it so much I bought another for my 1080p livingroom tv. Looks great at 1080p too!

I am very happy with this device so far (2-3 months of daily use). I've had AT LEAST 7 Roku devices completely lose the ability to connect to WiFi over the past 3 years, so I'm hoping this holds up much better. The interface is quick and easy to navigate.

Wonderful! I mainly use it for cable. So instead of paying more for an additional a cable box, I use the Chromecast to access all the channels. Works pretty good since I bought it about a year ago, even with the other apps.

Surprisingly powerful device - it feels more like an AppleTV or similar sized set-top. It has frozen and crashed on me a couple times, hense the 4 instead of 5 stats. But if you don't have the space for an AppleTV 4k / Android similar, this is the best "just plug it into the back of the TV" media Hub I've seen to date.

it’s a good product for its price. it makes regular tvs into smart tvs. the remote is small and it’s easy to setup and use. the only issues i have is with bluetooth and hbo max. you have to go into setting and manually connect to bluetooth devices every time, and the hbo max app is bad but it’s because of hbo max not google

THE BEST $50 STREAMER OUT! I'm a bit of a addict when it comes to these devices. I own them all, from the Shield Pro, to a few of those Android TV Boxes you see on Amazon and most everything in between. Believe me when I say this is the most complete device at the $50 price point.

I bought this as a gift for my parents! I set this device up for my parents, and they are in love with this device, and so am I! I am now able to cast movies and shows to their TV screen to spark their interests. My parents are amazed with the ability to cast music as well!

Like an Apple TV, but not $150. Has all the 4k HDR stuff that my 2019 Vizio display can handle. Pretty easy to use. I wish more of the apps / services integrated with Google's recommendation and search system. Have had some trouble on my wifi network (5 GHz vs 2.4 GHz etc etc) but they patched it and things have gotten better.
