Works exactly like you would expect. No issues. Easy to navigate and reasonable price. I can easily move it from TV to TV throughout my house when needed. Currently have it hooked up to a TV in the garage but I also use it on my portable projector when needed for the kids.

I now have 3 of these and they work great. My Roku keeps asking me to login to YouTube TV again all the time. I am going to replace that with a other one of these. It is a nice interface, it performs well. The screen saver is also nice to show random art/photos and time, weather info.

Been using this everyday on a smart tv to watch anime and youtube videos. Easy to use and set up. Remote is super nice and can turn your tv on/off and lower/raise volume. Absolute lifesaver with children.

This is my new favorite streaming device that doesn't almost everything I want. Very easy to set up. Very fast interface and extremely responsive and usable remote. The app store makes it easier to add other apps (with some limited potential to side-load certain, but not all apps as they need to be optimized for google). Streams most all the main streaming services I use. I only wish that Comcast would offer their xfinity stream TV app on this like what you see with Roku and now Amazon FireTV. Wish is was offered in the color black.

Smooth and Simple Setup, once you get in and enter in your Google account all the apps that you use are already logged in. Immediate access to all your favorite entertainment apps 4K is by streaming quality standards, hardly any sluggishness and screen tethering. Great Product

This device is amazing for everything except one thing, i tested all myy apps, streams videos and movies with a great quality on my oled, perfect dolby atmos compatible, love the remote controller, compact but super comfy and easy to use, i dont give it 5 starts only for 1 issue, the main reason i bought this device was to cast my new facebook oculus quest 2 to the tv, i have a 1 GB internet service, the lag of nthe chromecast feature is horrible, 2-3 secs delay, sound is very poor, not recommended for that feature, everything else works just great,.. Great price, compare to the Nidia shield i had before this cant tell the difference except the price, looks like casting wireless is only good when it’s built in in the tv.

Simple, easy to use but I get some lag already with it. For the price it's worth it, but if you prefer a smoother & more dedicated experience you may want to spend more on a better system.

This Chromecast is an amazing value, similar devices running android TV cost around $150 and do not have google TV. With Google TV I can search all my streaming services in one app, at the time I am writing this review, no other device on the market can do that. It is also great to see a first-party google streaming device with a remote as the previous Chromecast did not have a UI or remote. It is also great for streaming from a computer with very low latency, although I would recommend the ethernet adapter if you plan to do this often.

Extremely fast and user friendly. Going to hook up some google home mini speakers to see how it works. Much better than fire stick or Roku.

The Chromecast with Google TV is a powerful streaming device. I have been able to download many of my favorite apps including YouTube TV. The picture this device produces is so good that I am now ready to cut the cord on my traditional cable service and go with YouTube TV instead. Thank you Google for producing an excellent alternative to traditional cable service. I will save about $50 per month by switching from my local cable service to YouTube TV on the Chromecast.

Great device. It allows me to use my non smart tv as a smart tv. Everything is fast and easy to navigate. The remote can turn on and off the tv as well as control volume. Connecting it to google gives it access to all my google services. I enjoy this on my smart tv as it runs much faster than the OS on that tv.

Excellent choice if you don't own a Smart tv or if you are like me, that you dont like the interface that comes with your smart tv. I own a smart tv that keeps getting disconected from wifi so I decided to give this a try and my problems are solved. One other benefit is that I can also now use voice commands to open different apps like netlfix, disney +, etc. You can also program it to control your tv, so you dont need another remote. Definetely recommended.

Our LG TV has chromecast built in. The problem is that TV OS is always slow. Extremely slow. The lag between switching apps, pausing, unpausing and casting is non existent when using a chromecast instead. When I cast kids shows to my tv, it powers on the TV and plays the content faster than I could get the TV to turn on and begin to load the first page. I would recommend using chromecast as your TVs default operating system every day of every week forever. Seriously.

We would definitely recommend Chrome Cast/ Google TV to every one and anyone looking to cut the cord to satellite. We have 2 one in our kitchen and I have one in my bedroom and another in our living room ( was installed in our TV. It’s MUCH CHEAPER than Satellite and very easy to install I had it setup in no time at all! We do wish it had the option to get more of our favorite OTA channels though. But for now we are just happy to have what we do have without paying deep prices for Satellite.

Holy cow! Google nailed one of the biggest pains in the world, using a single remote for your tv and sound bar. I have been using chromecast since it released and it is great to see how far they have come. The setup is beyond simple. After many year of using two remotes for my tv and sound bar, I now only use the remote this chromecast came with. My 7 year old tv is smarter and Google tv like. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has multiple streaming services and loves to have a single experience for all services.

So far I'm enjoying it and consider it a good purchase. However, there are somethings wish it could do or were better. I bought this for an older non-smart led tv that still works as good as the day I bought it. The Blu-ray player I bought for this tv will not get anymore updates so Netflix and Hulu it would eventually have trouble accessing. Chomecast became my answer. Picture quality is amazing, sound is great, controls are simple. Setup was fairly easy. Things I think could be better? More control options on the remote, screen mirroring for Samsung phones, and I wish it had a microSD or USB built-in for use with flash drives and other storage devices. All-in-all, I'm happy with my purchase.

I have been using Chromecast since the original and I loved every version. When this released, I ordered immediately! With this latest iteration, you are able to use the remote with the device. No phone necessary (but there is the option to cast if needed). Much quicker for things to load up and easier to navigate with remote. Easy set up took all of 10 min. All my streaming apps work (youtube, Netflix, hbo max, and Disney+). Only app I have to cast is ATT Tv Now, but I hope they will update an app to be used for the device soon.

This is a very easy, cost-effective way to make an old TV into a Smart TV. It works as well as my Smart TVs, breathing new like into an old TV that I might otherwise have tried to replace.

The best streaming device out on the market at this time. I had a Chromecast Ultra, but would find myself using my PlayStation for streaming more often than the Chromecast due to the functionality of the PlayStation PDP remote. I find it more convenient than using my phone as a remote and draining battery, waiting for it to re-establish it's connection to whatever it is I was streaming just to pause or play something or rewind. Therefore I wasn't even taking advantage of my 4K TV. This new Chromecast changes everything. I can't believe what I've been missing out on in 4K HDR 60FPS (which my PS4 didn't support) the remote is so small and simple. Albeit, it's VERY easy to lose ESPECIALLY if you have curious toddlers that love to grab things and hide them. Just about every streaming service you can think of is supported (except Apple TV of course but then, what are you doing with your life?) I love it so much, I bought 2. One for the bedroom which is currently using a 10+ year old 1080p TV which doesn't even support HDMI CEC. So the added functionality of the IR blaster in the remote makes it EVEN better. There's really nothing I Don't like on the new Google TV Chromecast except MAYBE the new USB cable which is actually Shorter than the Chromecast Ultra USB cable. (WHY Google) Also, if you plan on getting power from your TVs USB port, you might get a message saying it does not have enough power and they want you to use the included USB brick. That's my only gripe. Otherwise highly recommend, this is a Huge upgrade from the Chromecast Ultra
