Does what it's supposed to do. Easy and cheap way to make your smart TV even smarter. Great user interface, easy to use, all of the most popular apps all in one place. Only downside is the amount of storage.

I have been a Chromecast user since the 1st Gen. We currently use a combination of Gen 2/3 and Ultras. We had been using an Android box from Verizon on our Living Room TV and it's been awful. Each updates added more bloat and slowed down the system. This new gen is more similar to Android TV than a regular Chromecast. It comes with a remote, can download apps, supports accessories through the USB-C port, as long as you use the right adapter to power both the device and the accessories. The OS runs smooth. I haven't enountered any hiccups, even after installing multiple streaming apps. The old Verizon box would become less and less responsive the longer it ran without a reboot. This is not the case with this device so far. The included remote is a game changer. Not only do you use it to control the content you're watching, but it also has an IR blaster for controller your TV and sound system. You can pair your TV to the power and input button at the bottom of the remote, then pair your sound bar to the volume buttons on the side. I was able to eliminate my Logitech Harmony Hub and Remote setup since it became redundant to have both. I can now control all 3 devices with just this one simple tiny remote. This is a major improvement over the previous generations. I'm seriously considering replacing all my current chromecasts with this one.

This is my Go-To streaming device. I purchased this even though I already had a smart TV. The remote is intuitive and replaces all the important functions of your TV remote. The interface is fun to use and easy to switch platforms. On the downside, it came stock with a Japanese interface until I researched how to change languages back to English.

The chromecast just got better! Easy to use interface, fast and efficient. All the great perks of the regular chromecast and a fresh new design. And it streams 4K? Sold. The remote is light and small but looks great. Only gripe was that it disconnected from my Wifi and could not figure out why I couldn’t stream some things because it did not alert me. Once I got on Wifi again the problem has not happened and is working great again.

High Recommend this new Chromecast. I've had previous models and while I continue to love and joy them, this new version is AMAZING. Setup was easy, Iove the clean interface and all the new features it has to offer. In addition, the remote has a clean and simple design and easy to navigate and control with. This is a MUST BUY if you are an existing Google Chromecast user or thinking of buying one.

I love this thing, huge upgrade from the previous models, especially now that it has a remote. I bought it for my parents who were used to having an apple tv and I almost took it back with me haha The user interface is a huge upgrade and can compete with any other streaming device in the same price range. I enjoyed it to the point where I almost considered selling my PS4 just to buy one of these. Worth it.

I didnt think I would enjoy this as much as I do. So easy to use and intuitive. The picture quality is crisp and using my phone to turn the tv on and off is awesome. We have a samsung smart tv but the features in the chromecast are far superior.

I am very happy with this streaming device! I bought it for my LG CX. I was going to get the Roku Streaming Stick Plus, but the Chromecast with Google TV had additional features I wanted for my TV that the Roku did not have. I used a piece of Velcro on the back of the device to stick to my TV. I did not want it to dangle by the HDMI cable. I also have a 4K Apple TV, but I believe the Chromecast is much better.

In my home I have Rokus, Firestick, and a Chromecast with Google TV. This is easily the best of the three devices. Apps run smoothly, the interface is easy to use, and the remote is user friendly... It should also be noted that I programmed my harmony remote to use Google TV due to all of the other home stereo items I have. Anyway, I definitely recommend this product.

The Chromecast with Google TV seems to be a very stable and useful device. I purchased this so that I could use You Tube to choose videos to practice guitar with. It's responsive, works well with Netflix and You Tube. The remote is a plus! It can be set up to control other items other then the Chromecast. Many streaming services are offered and setup is a breeze. I'm happy with the purchase and may order another for my shop TV.

Best Chromecast Ever I've been a fan of Chromecast ever since it first came out. The simplicity of just throwing something from your phone up on a screen without fussing with turning a box on or picking up a remote was fantastic. The built-in Chromecast (and only Chromecast) is what originally attracted me to Vizio's Smartcast TVs and I haven't owned a TV without it built in since. As nice as being able to control everything from your phone is, it does have its limits. The new Chromecast with Google (Android) TV keeps everything that was great about Chromecast and adds a fantastic UI with a really easy to use remote. Being able to speak my show or movie into the remote and go right into watching it without having to find whatever app has it is really great. The interface is super snappy and doesn't have a ton of intrusive ads like the Smartcast platform I've gotten used to over the years. It supports every major HDR format and Dolby Atmos, so in general if your system and the app supports it you get it. It also integrates with the CEC control of my Vizio TV really well and the remote has no issues automatically turning the TV on, off, or switching to the correct input. I did notice a couple of apps like Movies Anywhere and Vudu were limited to 1080p streaming, but hopefully that will be fixed with an update at some point in the future. There's also a bug with some Dolby Vision movies I own where the frame rate seems to stutter on my TV. But overall I'm just so pleased with what Google has done with this thing. I plan on putting one on my other TV as well eventually.

This Chromecast has changed how we watch tv. We cut the cord long ago, but still don't have a smart tv. We've been streaming everything by casting from our phone. The new Chromecast lets us browse on the tv itself to pick content. We can still cast from our phone or from voice commands too and the Chromecast is smart enough to know to play it from the app on the Chromecast which gives us the options to skip credits and recaps.

If you use a chromecast, this a must have! I was using my phone to stream to the TV. (My bedroom TV isn't a smart tv. It's in great shape so I don't want to spend money to buy a new one) This upgrade comes with its own remote. I no longer have to use my phone. All my streaming apps are now in one place. The menu is user friendly. You can use remote to power on and off TV plus you can control the volume.

I've used every Streaming Device out there, and the Roku was my goto. I've liked the original Chromecast, but it lacked in one area. The Lack of a UI, and remote made the Original Chromecast good, but not great. This be Chromecast with Google TV is perfect. The interface is intuitive, and you have access to every Streaming app you need. The remote and voice assistant work great. Also for $50 this device is worth every penny.

At last a fully realized version of Chromecast. It seemed ridiculous to have to stream video from your phone with the OG Chromecast when Roku and others were streaming for years without using your phone or tablet. The interface is fast and easy to use and gives you access to all the most popular streaming services. All that for less money than my OG Chromecast. You can't beat it.

Chromecast stick in 4k what else can i say. Easy to set up and work with cec link just fine on all modern tv that support cec link. Only thing suck is I wish we can add multiple google account, instead of using my own personal account. Not unless there is a way I dont know about or in a later future update. Recommend for anyone who getting tire of their original manufacture os and want to become googlfy.

I absolutely love this device. I've been holding off purchasing a new one for a few years, because my older one was still working. I finally bit the bullet, and ordered a new one a few weeks ago, and it's awesome. I haven't had any buffering issues, all of my streaming apps are available on it, it was super easy to set up, and the remote control is fabulous. I can't recommend it enough.

Love Chromecast for its features, compatibility and ease of use. However, the control that it comes with is not great. Very tiny, slippery and sensitive. However, it does have the ability to sync with your tv, receiver, etc. so you can use it as a single remote for powering on/off the devices, turning volume up/down, etc. It's not just for controlling the Chromecast. The fact that YouTube TV is on this version is pretty awesome too. Overall, happy with it, but not necessarily with the control that they made.
