This devices has true Android Tv which I'm a big fan of it's easy to setup, once you sign into your Google account your opened up to a world of streaming and Google play to get even more definitely worth the coin.

Absolutely love this thing have about 7 different streaming apps, you just push button and talk into it what you want to watch and finds it for you. Easier for everyone and kids plus like universal remote controls stereo and tv all in one remote, only downfall its small dont lose it lol. Make sure to get 4k version it is much clearer.

Works great, nice to have an actual remote and not use your phone for everything.

Chromecast Google TV makes it so much easier, affordable and better for us to watch anything and everything from only one box and one connection

This was one of the best perches I've made i didn't want to waste more money on a new TV with updated features. But this was cheaper and easier to setup. I would really recommend you this if you want to save money.

Response and processing time could be a little faster, but overall a nice quality of life upgrade from the built-in WebOS on my LG TV.

Good inexpensive option for my Samsung 4K TV, much better than the tizen OS, it’s small enough to plug it behind the TV mount, clean user friendly interface.

This device is a victim of two minds. It has the best operating system for watching TV out of any device you could hope to have. The issue comes at the fact that it is paired with a device that has very limited hard drive space and barely enough power to run the system. My smartwatch has more hard drive space than this device beating its 4gb by 12gb... And the processor is so weak that sometimes you'll be sitting there waiting for it to load up and that won't be because of your internet speed. I'd be less disappointed in this device if there was a pro option for people who need more power, but there is not. After using my friend's Sony TV which comes with the operating system built in I realize that all of my issues are with the hardware. I have kept this device in my home but in my main viewing space I have an Nvidia shield which runs Android TV instead of Google TV, which annoys me even more that they won't allow it on other devices, opting to keep this aging operating system in play even longer. Terrible decisions being made at Google. With this device it's easy to just chop it up till you get what you pay for but the operating system is worth way more than the device itself.

Quick access to your favorite movies TV show etc highly recommended you can go wrong with the Google TV Chromecast.

The setup is really quick and easy. I have lots of google homes around my house so I like I can tell google assistant to turn on the tv. The software is also really good and snappy, very fast loading times. I totally recommend for you tv lovers out there!

I bought this to be able to cast the video from my Oculus to my LG OLED TV, It works great!

Overall, this is an upgrade over the previous Chromecasts with curation of your apps. That makes it easier to find something you want to watch. I would have given it five stars, but it has frozen on the home page several times, and I had to unplug and replug it to get it to work. My solution is to go to the apps rather than the home page which cuts out the curation, which is a big drawing card for this gadget. That's OK with me because I can look for myself, but if you want the curation, it might be a problem. Otherwise, this is a great entertainment tool in which you can easily access your apps. I run Tablo through it which allows me to pause recorded programs using the Android TV controller for this Chromecast. Going directly through the Tablo app presents a glitch that causes the pause not to work, which is an annoyance. Overall, it's worth the price, and I would buy it again.

First the bad: Small remote! hurts to hold the remote for a small period of time (hand cramps).  Especially when watching Live Tv which most people tend to hold remote longer.  I wish it had the Roku Ultra remote but only for its size and feel.   Another issue is lack of connectivity with google phone to type passwords.  Using the remote sucks and it's time consuming. This totally takes away from the experience. Especially when the apps do not have an alternative login or if your logins are long. Overall it was a great experience once apps where installed and logged in; although it had some glitches with some of the apps. I'm sure the glitches will get addressed in future updates. However I see the possibilities as endless and a lot of fun.  Voice control was great!

Google Chrome Cast is simple to connect to your device, it's easy to use and navigate. I purchased mine on sale.

Love my Chromecast. I can turn on my TV just by asking my google assistant. It also can play you favorite show on command. The best part is that it connects fast to my WiFi and TV. There is no wait time or need for the tv to prep in order to connect to Netflix, Disney+ or any other third party app. Recommend it to everyone. Its a must have gadget.

This was an upgrade from our original Chromecast device and indeed it does work much better. The remote opens up other programs but I dropped it one star due to the small size of the remote as seen in my hand.

The Chromecast is very fast, have Netflix, Disney, Amazon and more apss.

Easy. Hook up. Gives a great quality of picture. Probably will get a second one
