We usually buy a ton of firesticks around cyber monday and black friday. The amazon firesticks just dont last. So we decided to give the Chrome a shot. I like the set up and recommnedations without searching every app. I also like that you can just cast from your phone too. Give it a shot!

Love this thing. I did not think I would like the new google tv interface but it is nice. It is more versatile with the available apps. I went from the 1st gen to this you don't have to rely on your apps on the phone being compatible as much which is great. I like the remote as well. I do wish it had more playback controls.

The TV is used to have didn't connect to the internet and would crash every time I tried to connect it. So it's smart function clearly died. LOL. My friend told me about Chromecast and fixed my solution for a really cheap price. That way I didn't have to go out and spend a lot on a new TV. It was an easy set up and had easy use. Shoot, I still use it but now it's attached to my monitor.

Great product from Google, the interface is decent to navigate through and it's cheap. The only problem that I have with it is certain issues like the volume icon staying on the screen even after resetting the system and the sensitive controls.

Worked perfectly the first time, easy install, very inexpensive universal remote solution. Had to search a bit to find the volume buttons on the side.

this is a very good product, you have enough to watch movies and sports, you don't have to pay a lot for cable.

I have been using chromecasts since they basically came out and had one in every room; however I wanted something that I could put in the guest room that didnt require guests to stream from their device. In my search I came across this newer chromecast that bascially turns an older TV into a smart TV. I was hesitant to try it due to how inexpensive it is compared to all the other options out there, but it truley does everything I wanted it too and the user interface is easy to navigate. Would recommend for anyone looking to turn an older TV "smart" for little money.

This newer version of Chromecast is a lot easier to set up and use. Best for streaming tv users. Made transition to streaming very easy.

Works great! I have an older 42 inch Samsung LED TV. This product instantly made my TV smart without the need to upgrade it, since it still shows a great picture. Can’t beat the price. I have Apple TV and its just as good in my opinion for a fraction of the price. I do recommend getting an HDMI extension cord, especially if your TV is on a flexible or moving wall mount. Google TV doesn’t have the Spectrum TV App, like Apple TV does, but you can “cast” the app, so all is good.

Just a great option for older 720p and 1080p sets that so many still have. Pluto and other free channels easily justify the already low purchase price before you factor in the ability to login to premium streaming networks like NETFLIX, etc, and the oft-forgotten option of streaming any content from your phone, laptop, or tablet. No need to deliberate on this purchase; just buy it! (Unless you have a 4K TV. Then buy the 4K edition!)

Good product for the price, google has a good User Interface which makes using the product easy and is simple to set up.

Had an older model tv, didn’t have the apps, didn’t want to replace it yet, because the tv still worked and I don’t use it too often, but this bought me a little more time and it actually got me to use the tv a little more. It is convenient and I like that you can just use one control. I also liked how they set up the control, it’s very sleek and easy to use, also want won me over is that it was super affordable and easy to set up.
