I purchased initially to access my Google Play purchased movies. But with this devise there is so much more. You can easily download apps, like Pluto, that allow hundreds of television shows and movies for free. Yes, you have to watch advertisements, but I've been doing that for decades on both cable and broadcast stations. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Has access to all the apps I need, except DirecTV Stream. I wish there was an app for that. But I can access on my phone and stream it to the TV through Chromecast.

The connection seems to be stable.

Good quality images clean no breaking in images on screen. I will refer this product to many people if i have a chance to do so. I have bought more than 200 pieces in the pass time. Very easy to connect and also easy to use can be move from one tv to another with ease

I love the google platform and I didn't want to buy another tv for my shop. So I just hooked one of these up to an old 1080p monitor. Works great!

Great update to an older streaming stick

Replacing an older slower Roku. The interface is pretty fast and easier to use when I compared it to my Firestick 4K max. The fire stick is more potent hardware wise but the interface is nothing to write home about. This has a much better user interface. Given its just 1080p resolution max I think it very good if you intend to use it on Tv's with lower resolution.

All of my tvs have it! The chromecast with google tv is a great way to get access to google tv on tvs without it.
